I too got to talk to a few of our "friends" via the phone Saturday night. Eyegirl actually called a few times! YES, they did sound like they were having a great time!

Broadband internet what does it cost you?

i recently subscribed for broadband internet 512kbsec which "b.t" provides at 29.99 ( roughly about 50 dollars a month) is that expensive for the uk i think it is,what i want to know is which of you have broadband internet and how much does it cost monthly for your country mmmm im wondering if yours is cheaper.

Because we live in the woods, we are connected via satellite. Initial start up was a kick in the pants (~$600!) but given the alternative w/our OLD AS ASS phone lines we are in a much better place now!

i think an informal head count would put total attendance at around 35 - 40 folks there.
(no one was designated as 'attendant', so no official count was taken.).

Ah, WT........you guys sounded like you were having so much fun when I got to talk w/you on the phone! By the way "hello, darlin'" was very sexy! (not to worry, lyineyes, I know he is all yours! LOL)....I was so happy that I got to talk to a few of you on the phone.........felt like I was there (sorta).
I was so bummed after I hung up the phone that I couldn't be there......but guess maybe there will be a trip to Louisianna in the future, huh? I will most definately try to make it to that one!
Can't wait until eyegirl gets home to give me the low down and tell me EVERYTHING (am a little curious about her and the smurf......those incrimidating pics!)

Just got a Job - Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
by invisible inwell, in between my last post on corporate brainwashing an hour or so ago and now, i just managed to get myself a new role within the charity that i work with on a daily basis (http://www.selfdirection.org).
although not full time, i am upto 26hrs p/w.
my job title is enabler and trainer for individuals with severe handicaps and/or severe learning difficulties.

What was the worst date you ever been on ?
by Xandria ini did not date until 19 ... and married the only person i dated.
he kept going of course ( which may of been the wise choice) for she may of done him in if he stopped.
luckily she made a mad dash for the door and made inside in record time.

My worse date happened years after I left the borg............a friend of mine decided to set me up on a blind date and we met at a nice restaurant. Had a nice (expensive) dinner, good conversation but I could tell that there was no "love connection" but the company was nice. After dinner I got up to excuse myself to the ladies room and when I returned he was gone. I saw him outside the window and assumed that he had paid for the dinner. I went outside to catch up with him and he started to brag about how easy it was to walk out without paying the bill! I was so embarrassed that I went back in, paid the bill and left the tip. I he wanted to go out for drinks and "what-not" (his words) and I quickly made up an excuse to go home! What a loser!
I do have to say though, when I was engaged as a dub, my fiance wanted our first kiss to be at the wedding ceremony (KH) IN FRONT OF THE CONGREGATION! How embarassing that would have been! Needless to say, we never did marry (and YES, we did end up kissing.........guess the temptation was just more than either one of us could stand)....but what an idea! LOL
