MYOHNSEPH.......Yes, it is already "frosty" here in Minnesota! In fact, the batteries (my hubby has a bike too) are taken out and the bikes are put away until spring (hoping for a warm spring). Nice bike, by the way!

are we all ready for christmas?!!
so, who here buys 'real' trees and who has the fake?
this will be our 4th christmas.
I like "real" trees to, but we heat our home w/wood during the winter months which makes everything VERY dry. I broke down a few years ago and bought a fake one, which really looks nice. My only regret is not getting the one w/the lights already connected to it.......*sigh*
One of my most favorite times is sitting with just the Christmas lights on the tree, quiet music playing and it is peacefully snowing outside. Add a cup of cocoa and I am in heaven. Just something magical about the season.......

My package is all wrapped, addressed and ready for the post office tomorrow morning.

i also want to ask a question: why are women who have children viewed more favorably than women who don't?
especially if the choice is to not have children.

Parenting isn't for everyone. And I agree, I think it is terrible that some people look down on those that chose not to have children.
For me it was a choice to have children.....and yes, motherhood has been THE greatest blessing in my life.......but that was for ME.
A woman's merrit should have no bearing on how many children that they bring into this world.....

By the way,the cult wasn't my mistake-I was born in.But I don't hold it against my parents.They were good people doing what they thought was right.Good parents will be good parents,and bad ones will be bad,whether they're jw's or not.

No matter how self-centered or selfish you may think you are, you realize you have the capacity to put someone else first in your life.
And regardless of your romantic success or failure in life, you will always know what true love feels like.
I never felt the "pressure" from society to become a parent, my choice at being a parent was 110% mine and their fathers. I believe some people just aren't parent material and I applaud them for realizing that before bringing an unwanted child into this world.
I look at this face every day and it brings tears to my eyes at just how sweet life has become since I have become a mother!

i started a thread saturday morning about eyegirl and i getting ready to attend our brother's 30th bday party.
what a blast we had!
lot of laughs (omg...... only strange thing of the weekend was heading over to our grandma's for lunch on sunday, driving up and seeing mom and dad's truck parked in the driveway (they are still active dubs).
ah........the paintball gun! That Webber will never be the same! LOL
