for those with kids growing up, do you worry about their future, in this upset world we live in?.
do you really think they will have a stable and happy life?
I have 18 years to teach my children to be the best people that they can be. After that, it is their choice what they do w/their lives. I take the good when I was growing up, teach the opposite of the bad and shower my kids with unconditional love. IMHO, the world isn't that bad of a place........or at least, not my world.

My inspiration? Myself. From past experience I know that I can get thru anything.......it may be painful as hell, but I have done it and know that I have the strength to do whatever it is in life that needs to be done.When I look back and see how far I have come, I can only look towards the future w/great anticipation and wonderment of where I will end up.
Nature also inspires me. There is a lot to learn by nature around us.
as i wrote my last post about d. h. (the jw woman who was superficially shot by her abusive non-jw husband), it occured to me that the entire story sounded fabricated.
but it got me thinking...i wonder how many of our posts here are fabricated, exaggerated or embellished?

Interesting comments. When I first came to the board I wanted to believe everything I read. I was being honest, so I had no reason to believe that others wouldn't be. Silly silly scootergirl. Now, I take what is written w/a grain of salt. Call me skeptical, but I don't believe everything I read anymore. I have seen a lot of "attention hounds" on here......they usually fade away when their needs are not met. Instead of investing my time and energy on everyone, I pick and chose people that I have come to trust and believe.
XW....great point about people trying to remember all the details of their "embellishments". One thing I teach my children is this........

Ms. Xena.....LOL....Girl, so much I want to say but just can't find the right words to express how I feel about you. You know I love you, hon. We've been thru a lot together. Good times......bad times......laughter.......tears. Secrets between girlfriends (shh......and NO.....we aren't telling any of you guys!) A friendship that developed and cultivated over time. All I can say is my world is a much better place since my dear friend, xenawarrior, graced it-and I am very grateful.

i bent over backwards to bug the shit out of scootergirl for months to get my pickles, even when they weren't ready and when i try to complain while she's here, and especially after all those pics she was showing us of the great northern picklecopia, she ignores me!...even after i call her "mommy" despite her express forbiddance this weekend...i didn't even get slapped, like she said she was going to.... sincerely,.

LOL....valis.......I know you are giving me shit! Very few can understand or appreciate just what I mean when I say I live deep in the woods. I am so glad that you got to enjoy yourself when you were here last year. Very peaceful and tranquil place......very quiet. Just not sure if we are gonna give you a fourwheeler to use next time! Maybe just a flare gun and some snacks in case you get lost!
