  i am often confused by many of the double standards jdubs employ.

  they're always worried about how other jdubs view their actions.

  many of them say they won't do "such and such" because it would offend their god jehovah.

  I think the Society has ran it's course with the dating game. To extend the end of the world date up to 2030 would be a real heart wrencher for the older JWs expecting to see the end any day now. Their hopes have already been dashed as far as this century prediction. The WT has become a social gathering for the elderly. Many have spent most of their days preaching a lie and I know a few that are starting to realize this. The only thing that really keeps them in the WT is that they are to old to start over making new friends and believeing something else to replace their misguided faith.

  File lawsuit or not?

  when i moved my family after leaving the jehoagies schmitnesses, i changed my phone number, and made sure it was unlisted.

  little did i know that i would soon be receiving a call out of the blue from a jw.. now, this was a woman that i had worked with at one time and we were pretty good friends, so a few years later, when she called, i was kind of glad to hear from her.

  the problem was, how did she get my phone number.

  Maybe you should write their names and phone numbers on a few undesirable bathroom walls.

  Seriously, you may give it a shot and try to sue. If anything, the woman who dug into your records may get fired from her job or at least repremanded. I am sure as all good JWs do, they will lie out their teeth to cover their hide on this.

  hopefully a learned jw can answer this for me.. i have many jw friends & attended a couple of meetings.. one friend dropped by every month or so handing out pamphlets etc.

  and we enjoyed the visits.

  one saturday i asked him who was savior and he said jesus.

  So, how many Saviors do we have? Yahweh say's besides him there is no Savior! Is Yahweh lieing? According to the New Testament he is, unless....................it is best to use the mind God gave you and draw your own conclusions.

  The video came out in 1988. For the time, it was the best video out exposing the WT. Something needs to be produced that is more updated. I have donated several videos to libraries and churches as well as have this video playing on the local cable station in my city. It reaches over 25000 homes. The video has played regularly for over 5 years now.

  The best way to keep the Watchtowers lies from spreading is by informing the public as to what the WT is about. There are just to many ignorant people out there that do not have a clue as to what the WT really is about, as well as most religions.

  this one scripture has bothered me for a while.

  i've asked elders everywhere on this one and just get confused looks.... according to a wt in 1953, the nwt rendering of 1:1 at the time was: "paul, an apostle of christ jesus thru god's will, to the holy ones who are also faithful ones in union with christ jesus.".

  wouldn't the correct rendering be: "paul, an apostle of christ jesus thru god's will, to the holy ones who are [in ephesus] who are also faithful ones in union with christ jesus."???

  I see that it was the humans who cause the suffering and humans (officers) that allowed it. People can truly be evil as well as complacently evil.

  I see so many today blame God for the evils that humans impose upon one another. Do these that blame God have a direct link or channel of communication with God, so they know exactly that God is the one causing and allowing the suffering?
