I got a laugh out of that comment also, as a matter of fact most of the site is a sad laugh. I got the link for that site off of a Jehovah's Witness forum. The forum is somewhat new and administrator is actually a nice guy but blind as can be.

i just received the following email a few minutes ago, anyone care to suggest a response?.
do your math......my children are safer within the jehovah's witnesses than in any other organization......... .
if you compare the cases of child molestation and other acts with the stories of happiness and success ....the success stories will overwhelm all other negative stories........ .

You might of added that you do not label all Jehovah's Witnesses as molesters, only those among Jehovah's Witnesses that are.
Also, just because there are a few success stories among the WT does not excuse the actions of those who are molesters among the organization.
i found some ladies purse at the local shopping mall parking lot tonight, it had her entire life in it, her social security card, her cell phone, her cash, her credit cards, even her daughters social security card.. from looking through the contents, me and saffron were able to find out many things about her:.
1)she had recently moved from way out in the country to columbia maryland... 2)she was probably divorced from a man of middle eastern origens.
3)she was white.
Whether she was poor or rich or in between, you did the right thing bboyneko. You showed good character. A trait missing in many today.

I enjoy your mind digging thoughts. It seems the more we think we know, the more there is to know. I at times get so tired of trying to figure things out that I get to where I no longer care. Living each day and trying to survive zaps enough energy from us. My mother who was in the WT for over 35 years was Disfellowshipped for apostasy in 1989. Her faith in God has dwindled to almost nothing. She still does pray on occasions, but has drawn almost the exact conclusions you have about whether God is listening and why he does not answer and act to prayers of not only her, but others.
And just think , this is what their children are brought up to believe.
my wife is very sceptical of ray franz's book coc.. what i want to know is this , has the society ever shown that the events described in that book are false and the letters or statments quoted are false?
i feel their silence on the matter speaks for itself.. has the society ever sued any so called apostate writer for lies in their books?.
i personaly dont agree with all the critacism about jehovahs witnesses and understand that ray's slant on matters may not always be unbiased (who ever is?

I remember saying the same thing back in 1989 when COC was handed to me, of course I had not read it before making the comment about it being a pack of lies. I was just parroting what the Society wanted every good rank and file JW to say when confronted with information exposing the WT.
Proverbs 18:13 When anyone is replying to a matter before he hears [it], that is foolishness on his part and a humiliation.
As far as someone being sued for writing anything factual exposing the WT, I am not aware of any cases.
Ray did quote many lies and deceptions in COC from the WT though, so your wife is right in this regard.
