i thought i would post an encouraging experience i found today.

i've been seeing a lot of 70-80 year old jws waking up, and their children are posting their experience on reddit.

these are old elders, pioneers, circuit overseers who have given their everything and finally at the end of their life, are walking away.. maybe the key to waking up is that a person has to have a deep sense of right and wrong.

Hypocritical Stance of Jehovah`s Witnesses Over The Years.

i`m thinking of times when the jw organization has been hypocritical in their beliefs / practices .

they make sure they are no part of christendom in any way shape or form ,the understanding the r&f have of the organization.. the r&f members are not to have any dealings with christendoms religions in business or otherwise.. but what does the jw organization do ?

they sell watchtower property to christendoms churches for profit .. the r&f are to be separate from the world and call the league of nations and it`s successor the united nations the counterfeit kingdom of god ,the abhorrent thing standing in the place of god ?.

In the 1940's when Watchtower was a corporation regarded religion as coming from Satan (It must be, since all the divisions it created, the lies it spreads and the exploitation that bring upon people ). However, early in the 1950's something happened and being religion became acceptable as long as it was "true religion". I was wondering if this new interpretation had anything to do with the fact that religious organisations are subject to tax exemptions and government subsidies? The European Court ruled against France in a case concerning a tax demand claimed from the Jehovah’s Witnesses. The amount: over 57.5 million euro. (It seems they do not remember what Jesus said about giving Caesar's what belongs Caesar's and God's what belongs God's) The exception was considered on religious grounds. I wonder what they do with all the money they save this way? I doubt they give it away to the poor or lifetime pioneers. They might use them in building a multimillion state of the art headquarters with all the leisure facilities so they can enjoy themselves.

I don't know. Is that hypocrisy?

Hi GodBeliever - are you quoting scripture(s) from the NWT or another version?

I would quote from most existing versions doesn't make much difference. However, I am a bit sceptical about NWT. I believe is biased and was done in order to support some WT doctrinal changes. In some situations a single word misinterpreted can make a huge difference.

Their preaching work is not approved by God anyway, because acording to WT original teachings their "lips are not clean" and their "sacrifice of praise" is not being received.

When did WT lose the spirit?

at what time would you say that the watch tower schema lost the spirit?.

like the ancient nation of israel which struggled maintaining divine blessing due to a long series of grave errors that eventually culminated in definitive loss... how and when did watch tower lose the spirit?.

can we pinpoint a time or event?.

In 1954 with the demotion of Jesus Christ to angelic status. From that point onward the possibility of relationship with Jesus ended.

"But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not."
In March 1954 they also changed the teaching regarding religion. Where the Bible clearly teaches that worshipping God is not religion the WT leadership came to the conclusion that actually is "true religion".
