That makes zero sense. Why would the congregation not take their own congregation files when they moved to a new Kingdom Hall?

Past Watchtower Society Comments On Vaccines
by BluesBrother intoday there is a lot of hope placed in a vaccines to immunise against covid 19 , and relief that they are soon to be available.
that will be shared by the eight million or so jws in this world.
they should be thankful that the wts has moved away from its teaching ,that lasted for decades , proclaiming that vaccination was wrong, and a tool of satan.

Too much time has passed by now, but when I was a younger man, you'd still occasionally run into a Rutherford-era old-timer JW who was still absolutely dead-set against vaccinations (and aluminum cookware and the pretty much the entire medical profession in general) and who would let you know in no uncertain terms that you ought to agree with him.

Comparing Christian & Watchtower Timelines
by Sea Breeze inin talking to jw's, it is apparent that they believe they are the only ones who believe in a paradise earth.
in reality most bible-believing christians believe in a paradise earth, they just don't call it that, they call it the millennium reign.
i created the chart below in an attempt to highlight areas of agreement between christians and a watchtower view, while at the same time isolating the key difference - the rejection of the new covenant.

Reminds me of those charts from the "Divine Plan of the Ages".

Its hard to understand the blinding desperate need to win that is driving all this.
Not really:
1) It's an enormously effective
fund-raisinggrifting tool. I think the latest figure I've seen is Team Trump has raised $170 million+ just since the election to "fight corruption".Trump is of course leveraged to the hilt and nowhere near as wealthy as he projects himself to be, and has hundreds of millions in debt coming due fairly soon that he will be unable to pay. I strongly suspect some of the folks who will want their money are of the sort that don't turn to "Acme Collection Agency" from the Yellow Pages, who are of the sort that have their own decidedly less pleasant version of a "collection agency".
2) Trump is terrified of the looming prosecutions in his future, particularly state-level charges that cannot be self-pardoned away.
Once outside of the norm of "you can't prosecute a sitting president for anything", Trump will basically spend the rest of his life in one court case after another. Or a penitentiary. Or both.
3) There's the whole NPD thing, but that doesn't seem to fly on this site. But I'll just mention it for completeness.

If he (Trump) is going to cry fraud even here in AZ, is this really a question of election integrity or is the goal here to undermine the whole process?
I think we all know the answer to that one.

Christmas star of Bethlehem to appear for 1st. Time in 800 years
by nowwhat? inas spock would say " fascinating".. with 2020 being such a terrible year.
are people of the christian faith going to look at this as a sign of god, to give them hope and renew their faith?
coincidence?

By "Christmas star" do you mean the Jupiter & Saturn thing?
On December 21 they will align, from the POV of earth observers, to the extent that they will basically appear like one big shiny thing instead of 2 big shiny things.
They align somewhat like that once every twenty years, but align-close-enough-to;look-like-one-thing only occurs once every few centuries.
Did that happen around "Year 0"? I didn't see any research indicating that is the case, but I didn't spend much time on it so maybe I missed it.

substantial irregularities and evidence of systemic fraud
It's curious, when in a courtroom (as opposed to social media), The Trump Legal Team Led By Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis (TM) keep repeating over an over that there was no fraud.
It's almost as if....
...now follow me here....
...almost as if even the most jaded attorneys are not prepared to be disbarred by knowingly lying in court.
And almost as if all these claims of "systemic fraud" are one last, final, fundraising grift foisted upon the gullible.
Almost.

Hopefully the Georgia runoff elections will stop the Democrat takeover.
LOL.
It's hard for even the most....challenged....Republicans to balance simultaneously in their minds "the election was entirely rigged, your vote was utterly meaningless" along with "It is of the highest and most crucial importance for you to go out and vote in the GA runoff election next month."
Lotsa luck with that messaging.
