  Limbaugh can be abrasive but that is what draws people to him and some away. Many of the left have the same thing. AOC is very abrasive and self important and obnoxious. I can not stand to listen to her but some think she is the return of Christ. I don't agree with Limbaugh on every thing he says but I do on a lot. I just think to not agree is one thing but to say something like the flu shot is not a vaccine or that smoking is not harmful or proven harmful is so over the top stupid it has to be called out. I love to watch Penn and Teller have met them a couple of times and when they did the BS show on second hand smoking I emailed them that this was in and of itself BS. How could second hand smoking in enclosed places not be harmful? I agree if you are outside and you get a whiff and start to whine like and idiot leftist that is BS but not in enclosed areas. One has to think for themselves.

  I am really starting to doubt its natural. First off that sent a red flair in the sky was when early on the Chinese did a "its a US Army made virus" WTF. Who would say that except for a guilty person. Its like someone dying and before anyone knows how they died someone pointing a finger at someone else and saying he did it. here is a link to a doc. on scientists studying the virus and showing finger prints of it being Chinese made. You have to factor in that the Chinese have bought many scientists like WHO. We in the USA need to mandate that all things necessary to every day life are made in the USA. Start cutting ties with China. Its a rogue communist dictatorship that has no use in this world.Its also strange how all the whistle blowers have been dissapeared or killed by the virus ya I believe that one. Also the Chinese have scrubbed sites where their scientists have posted things about the virus that points a finger at it being man made. Any one who takes what China says is a stupid fool. If the Chinese said the sun will come up tomorrow I would have to think on it.

  One other thing I remember that ticked me off a bit was during Hurricane Irma. He was ranting about this not being a big deal bla bla bla. Then when it was going to hit he flew out on his private jet. That was very hypocritical.

  this topic is to focus on status updates & advice (no opinion or politics please).. status.

  latest status is that it's serious, probably isn't going to be contained and most large companies are making contingency plans, cancelling large events etc... which i don't think would happen if it was just people being alarmist.

  the incubation period means it may have already spread further and infected many more people than are currently known, so expect jumps in the numbers over the coming days and weeks.. tracking.

  I don't take what anyone person says with out thinking for myself about it. But Rush has said some things over the years I totally disagree with. Smoking not being bad for your health. The idea that a National Health care system is a communist take over. and this one on flu shots not being vaccines are in the top ten. His stance on immigration, and thoughts on many of the crazy things liberals push I agree with.

  The flu vaccine is only good for the strain its designed for. The problem with the seasonal flu is it mutates so one vaccine will not work on a mutated form of the flu. Its impossible to get the strain of flu that one particular flue vaccine is for. You may contract another but not that one.

  I listen to Rush most days for entertainment. I agree with him on some issues and disagree on others. But today he said something I believe is an out and out lie. He said there is no such thing as a flu vaccine. He then said there is a shot you can get that makes it less likely you will get the flu but no vaccine. I have to call a huge BS on this. I am not in immunology or any related area so can not be an expert voice on this but from all I have ever read the flu vaccine is a weakened or dead form of the virus that makes your body create antibodies so if you come in contact with the virus your body has a ready defense before it gets started. This is the definition of a vaccine. He also said in years past that the SG saying smoking is dangerous was over blown and now he has stage 4 lung cancer. As I said above I agree with him on some issues others IMO he is in the fringe crazy area in some of his talking points.

  Any thoughts on Saturday Nights "Contravirus" version on SNL? I thought it was hilarious.

  i wish i had taped the snl show since it was the first one "live" since the contravirus thing began but i am sure they will play it again in a month or two.

  i know a lot of people were anticipating how they could pull it off but they did, imo, a great job.

  it was a real learning experience also for the entire production staff on how to pull this off with most people working from their homes and no live audience.

  I stopped watching SNL when it became nothing but a propaganda arm of the DNC, its been a slow loss of intelligence since the first original crew. Each successive group being less funny and talented then the last one.
