  as a jw did you have a pioneer sister/elder's wife who was the biggest busybody, self righteous, arrogant pus in the circuit?

  who would look down on others and treat people like crap.. without giving to much away, i experienced one that knew everyone in circuit.

  and if she or her husband saw or heard something they didn't like it was " you know what the bible says" regardless if it was in there or not.

  Kingdom Halls are the WTS's indoctrination training centers.

  The WTS tries to stimulate people to become pioneers distributing the literature the WTS has published and has been doing so since the very beginning of the Watchtower Corporation in the late 1800's.
  

  Plain and simple

  The WTS/JWorg's top men cultivate more power, more money and more freely unpaid volunteers when people come into the organization and start participating.

  Mind you they accomplish this feat by lying, deceiving and manipulating people through their own devised agenda of preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which scripturaly are really acts of apostasy and false prophesying.

  Drinking during Prohibition

  during a recent conversation i had with someone, a question came up that i really don't know the answer to.

  did jw's still drink during prohibition in the us during the 1920's until it's repeal in 1933?

  was alcoholic beverages considered forbidden and possibly subject to disfellowshipping?.

  Judge Rutherford condemned prohibition at the time and smuggled illegal booze for himself while he lived at the luxury home called Beth Sarim.

  He always drove a extremely high priced Cadillac too just like Anthony Morris the noted boozer in today's GB members.

  What about obeying Caesars laws as the bible says.

  why are wt determined to relate the "founding of the world" to abel and "before the founding of the world" to a period before abel but after adam's sin?

  there seems like a lot of twisting of verses and words to prove a point which always makes me suspicious of their motives!

  (i have my own take on it but would like to hear others).

  You need to twist stories to create something to appear factual, the mythological writings in Genesis is a story which was told from people who were inherently ignorant to how the world actually came to be.

  inspired by a previous post i wrote and thought it deserved a place of its own .. i hope it helps people on their journey out of the wt/jw religion .. their is no going back after discovering the "truth" about the wt/jw religion.. its the path of freedom from enslavement to a man made religious organization that was born in america, a nation that has spawned numerous charlatan religious organizations, especially in the 1700`s to 1900`s .and even beyond..

  The WTS/JWS has been a long stand act of profiteering through false prophesying..

  Nevermore so than now can this be acknowledged, they still front themselves with

  lies but behind the curtain is the real truth.

  Preaching the Gospel without accurate truthful adherence is sinning and is not righteous in the eyes of god..

  The WTS wants to mentally indoctrinate people with their doctrines and bible interpretations so they can mentally exploit and manipulate people to their will, desire and sustain a semblance of power over people, while preaching a false gospel of Jesus Christ as a practicing agenda.

  "The Truth" of Christianity is in the bible , not the Watchtower Corporation.

  He may have gotten close to gaining a Rhodes scholarship but never achieved it . Big deal.

  In this talk he was on a self boasting trip trying to justify himself as being an acknowledged academically trained bible scholar .

  He was a part of a group men who were at the top of the WTS. who together set about to sell and promote the literature they published.
