Sounds like a bunch of twisted bullshit (Double Speak) to keep drafting money out of people's hands.
......but then again the WTS has been twisting up bullshit since it started as a religoius publishing house some 140 years ago.

Didn't the WTS forgive loans that congregations acquired for renovation purposes ?
There is no question to the occurrence that loans taken for renovation purposes were paid back slowly to the WTS HQ in the past or at one time.
It was an advantage either way for these renovation projects in that it helped to increase the real estate value to these buildings and properties for when they did get sold the money went right back to the WTS $$$

i recently had an online exchange with an active jw about the blood issue.
he originally wanted to talk about the potential dangers of transfusions but i pointed out that the risks of transfusions have nothing whatsoever to do with the reason that jws reject blood, and therefore i didn’t see any value in debating that topic.. not able to let it go, he then insisted that the blood mandate was a common theme throughout the bible, quoting acts 15:29.. it’s been a while since i looked into the subject, and i admit i’m now a little rusty when it comes to recalling where to find biblical quotes, but i remembered that there are passages in both the new and old testaments that, when read in the context of the time they were written, call into question the watchtower’s rendition of acts 15:29.. i offered to do some bible research and get back to the jw, suggesting that rather than letting our discussion become combative, we could have an informative and interesting exchange of ideas.
i reassured him that i was not looking to undermine his convictions, in fact i was more than happy to be corrected if my thinking was wrong.

In the transference of blood from one human to another in a medical blood transfusion procedure, the giver of the blood is not dead or had died so the symbolic sacredness of the blood is kept intact.
A perspective to the matter that the WTS heads never probably considered.
Realistically the No Blood doctrine was devised out of personal opinion that should have never have been constituted as a you must do this or you will be disfellowshiped as a JWS
we were told we were part of the world if we got involved in politics.
if we had employment that had political involvement we were instructed to get another job.
we were told we might be considered disassociated if we voted and then it became questionable.

i know there are a lot of 'wise heads' out there on this forum - so i would appreciate your suggestions.. several years ago, i studied with a guy, whose wife is a jw.
(he had studied with several elders before i came along).
the study went reasonably well.
Tactfully compare WT false doctrine - using only the Bible?
Yes if he receives that information willingly and honestly, there is no better way to convince a person that the WTS's doctrines are false by using the bible.
The Achilles heel of the JWS is the bible and the truth mixed with some intellectual honesty..
a number of states are allowing people to not wear a mask.
some think this is disastrous!

One wonders of these Governors are doing this as a politcal ploy to gain public support ?
The fall out has the potential to go in the opposite direction if the virus spreads in these States.
