  Would the world be a better place without religion?

  i know what you’re gonna say---------everyone has a right to believe whatever they want.. but the question above is not about everyone’s right to believe whatever.. the question is very specific------will the world be a better place----without religion.

  think for a while what the world would be like without any religion.. no conflicts between islam and christianity.. no conflicts between different sects of christianity.

  (example; jehovah’s witnesses vs catholics).

  Religion for centuries has been an accepted and established socialized direction for many civilized populations but mankind has become wiser and more knowledgeable about are selves such as human rights that religion has become actually harmful and impractical in are modern era, which is far from the knowledge of what humanity had in ancient times when most religions and their doctrines were actively established.

  Humanity should respectively turn the page and go forward for the betterment of itself.

  the wt always said that preaching is a must for all christians as it was 'demanded' by jesus.

  in the latest announcements, it has become clear the rank and file are only allowed to preach if the wt leaders approve.

  in other words, all jw's are providing obedience to their wt leaders instead of jesus.

  And enforced to propagate their own unique version of the Gospel of Jesus which is in opposition to Jesus's own instructions and guidance, particularly concerning false prophet date setting which he himself condemned and admonished.

  JWs are just sharing in the sins of the top GB leaders of this organization (WTS/JWorg.).

  I cannot imagine my formative years filled with the dreadful talk of destruction and Armageddon.

  I knew of a JWS about 14 who hung himself in a garage behind a Kingdom Hall back in the early 1970's , about my age at the time.

  It was assumed that all the talk and propagation of Armageddon coming in 1975 drove him to level of anxiety and depression.

  At the time there was condemnation of the mental health profession by the WTS so his JWS parents refrained from taking him to seek psychiatric help for this young teenager.
  

  Some years latter on another JWS friend of mind also took his own life out the fear and depression instigated by the WTS and its Armageddon soon doctrine.

  The list of people who I knew through being a JWS myself and in association with others is disturbingly long.

  Unfortunately people (JWS) who die this way doesn't get the attention as those who die from not taking a blood transfusion in the media.

  I think they probably will once the social restrictions are lifted, its to their advantage in gaining potential people to the religion .

  The numbers and accounting of those numbers are very important to the JWS religion.
  

  The theory might be that if they dont maybe the top leaders of the JWS are secretly willingly let the organization fade and dwindle down while they still hold on to the millions $$$ in assets to themselves.

  Much of these men's endeavors were derived from a personal drive of creating public notoriety of self importance and stature as being god's selectively chosen one(s) or channel to all mankind.

  The Faithful and Obedient slave/servant as it were, a higher stature of righteousness than other practicing Christians as they proclaimed.
  

  For example Russell was called by his followers the Laodicean Messenger .

  Today's GB men of the JWS claim they are the FDSL or modren day disciples as described in the bible but in reality they are modren day false prophet apostates enacted through their own commercialized charlatanism.

  Yes this is one of the causative results of the shunning practice orchestrated by the JWS religious cult.

  Doesn't get mentioned enough in my opinion.
  

  Just heard of another young woman (JWS) who took her life indirectly caused by the JWS cult that she got involved in.

  The JWS religious cult does cause psychological harm in many various ways to people.

  In review of all these men and their professing theology/preaching going back to William Miller in the mid 1800's up to today's JWS, they are and were false prophet apostates who didn't faithfully respect or adhere to Jesus's own stated proclamation and admonishment that of no one knows of the time.

  Nevertheless power and money was connected to preaching these false doctrines to the public, in spite of these endeavors as being recognized and acknowledged sin through accurate and honest reading of the scriptures. .
