Little if any, people are more about relgoius cults and their tactics to lure people toward them. either by printed literature or video presentations.

i hope this is in the right area.

i've been studying the 2520 days/years 607/587/586 debacle.

for a while now i have felt 1914 was wrong.

All this date calculating by the JWS was futilely redundant and an act of apostasy for centuries after the words by the Prophet Daniel were made Jesus Christ said that no one knows of the time not even he.

Once again proving the JWS are false prophet apostate charlatans.

The problem with some people is that they are looking for help and assistance in their problematic sociological lives, such as help in their marriages, problems with their children and problems they may hold within themselves and they believe acquired spirituality is the cure or the answer..

You cant get that from scientifically acquired knowledge no matter how much rational, intellectually honest and practical sense it makes.

will they ever go back to house to house ministry?

The WTS heads wanted something significant to sell about 1914 as in the return of Christ so they lied and spun numbers creating dates which weren't accurate and honest thinking the common laymen wouldn't examine closely to what they had done, they were partially correct about that to a certain extent.

They were in fact corrupt devious religious charlatans , they still are.

Did Jesus lie about his generation?

we all know the scripture where jesus says 'this generation will by no means pass away before the end will come'.

the jw interpret this as the destruction of the jewish state in jerusalem by the romans and the dispersal of the jewish people.

however, while researching the history of judea, i come across various facts about the region.. so jesus died about 30ce and his disciples were likewise well in their thirties or older, the 'generation' by definition would've lasted until ~50ce (the time during which children are born and raised to have children of their own).
