  Rocketman123, you say the non-profit WT corporation is

  commercialized but where it the evidence of such? I have seen no evidence of such.

  Since its beginning the WTS sold its literature to the public, such as yearly subscriptions to magazines, books, cassette tapes, dvds, they asked for donations and people did such as their wills, land properties and the latest scam asking children for money.
  

  That's called commercializing and expanding your operations.
  

  There is an operating business model working within the organization which has to be accepted.
  

  What they commercialized is their own version of the gospel of Jesus Christ, tainted with apostasy.
  

  If you cant see that you really are delusional in not a good way.

  DJ you seem inspired to white wash over the fact that the WTS leaders particularly Rutherford were false prophet apostates who commercialized a false gospel, in other words corrupt charlatanism.

  Lies are lies, false doctrines to manipulate and exploit people with false hopes are immoral and sinful from a Christian viewpoint.

  Sounds like you still have heart strings attached to the JWS cult.

  You do realize that this religious cult has lied to people unremittingly, caused thousands of deaths, ruined many lives and broken apart millions of families.

  Does that sound like the objective toward Christian values to you ?

  The whole endeavor behind the Watchtower Corporation was sinful false teachings or apostasy from a scriptural viewpoint.

  If Rutherford really believed in saving himself for god's approval he wouldn't have basked himself in riches and corruption, aside from adultery.

  also to use the jw tv you have pay your monthly dues for access.

  What Were You or Someone You Knew Counseled For That Was Ridiculous?

  back in the day, tons of witnesses were brought in the “back room “ to be counseled by elders because of their dress and grooming.

  some elders frowned on mustaches or hair that went past a certain point on a male.

  women were regularly harassed because their skirt was too long or too short or had a slit on the side.

  I was counseled for having a little hair over my ears.

  I was told no more service or talks until it was cut.

  This was in the 70's when men were wearing their hair longer.

  There was a guy in the Hall that had bad scares on his face from a car accident so he wanted to wear a beard to cover those scares, he was told to cut it off or else.

  I hate to tell you but during this time. 50 60s on, you don’t have to

  be a Jehovah’s Witness to get a good spanking or hit.

  Yes we know Min, there has been much more social awareness now about disciplining children than 40, 50 years ago.

  This JWS parent who whipped her daughter to death is above normal though and it happened in 2001.

  Growing up JW was a nightmare.

  You bet particularly in the 1960's to 1980's

  He acts a bit doused in that video.

  Well he was against prohibition.

  As I mentioned before he was a man who lived for his own pleasures and accomplished this by the money and power the WTS had in it and what it could create through his own publications.

  He was the top dog and no one could take that away from him.

  At a time when the US was going through great financial hard times (the Great Depression) he lavished himself in pleasures, a king in his own self built Kingdom if you will..

  I think its interesting to examine how the JWS religion got its start, Rutherford is no doubt a key person to its evolving creation..

  True it may be a bit disturbing to all that is revealed about the man particularly to practicing JWS, but honest open information to events and occurrences are necessary to arrive at the truth for those who really care about the truth.

  If there was ever a typical identifiable charlatan operating within the WTS it would be J Rutherford.
