when jesus said that no one knows of the time not even he, he didn't say a select few will know .. the other thing that bothers me is this organization promotes human ignorance on many levels, admonishing education or knowledge that mankind needs for its very survival... there are many other religious organizations that do this as well but the jws is just one of these organizations.
One other thing that's probably comes close to the top of the list is the refusal of blood transfusions.
This one hits myself bit hard since I had a family member die from refusing a BT.
To date since this doctrine was introduced some 80 years ago thousands of people (JWS) have died from this doctrine alone which to many religious or not is repugnant and heartless .

Hate may be too strong of a descriptive word to use .

To what are some of the things that you mostly disagree with about the JWS religion ?
I think publicly disfellowshiping is not a advent of Christian values expressed by Jesus himself.
A warning about associating with people who are behaving in a wrongful manner is probably good advise .
People have been DFed for simply being openly critical to some of the doctrines which are in the JWS faith, such as the year 1914.
Some have been Dfed for coming out as being homosexual.
There is long list of things which people have been Dfed which resulted in families being broken apart as well marriages and close relationships.

do you think trump will run again for president or do you think he will just be a force for the republican party behind the scenes?.
Not to a point where you claim that you can do a better job than people who have had years experience in politics on various levels of government.
Trump hadn't been a mayor of a small town or any experience in politics yet he discerned he could do a better job than those who have had years of experience, yet alone the most powerful politcal position in the entire country.
The ending result was he was removed from office.

somethings come to mind such as its long continuous end times/armageddon soon doctrine which has really been a core doctrine for decades going right back to its beginning .. maybe they should have adopted the stance as other christian based faiths and adhered to jesus's own words when he said " no one knows of the time not even he ".

The JWS religion is one that is composed of hypocrisy for it points out other Christian based faiths as being false ruined by Satan as it were then created a slew of its own false doctrines .

Na.. for a number of reasons, my preconceived assumptions were correct.
It takes a special kind of person to be the president of the US. a couple of them are brains and integrity.
A driving lust to support an over extended ego is not one those virtues.

More and more one reflects upon the activity of people like CT Russell and J Rutherford one could easily come to the conclusion that they were opportunistic egotists who wanted something to present to the public toward creating their own notoriety and praise.
Jesus Christ has returned was just the ticket to preach and propagate.
Today's GB men of the WTS/JWS are still lapping up a form of celebrity identity wherever they go.
Pretty good gig when you think about it .
The WTS pays for their trips around the world and when they arrive they get treated like adorned celebrities.

Reflectively if many of the JWS's weak doctrines weren't active and enforced such as 1914, blood transfusions, disfellowshiping and the admonishment of things like education , traditional celebrations like birthdays, Christmas etc.
A less controlling organization, less judgmental to its followers

Trump's chances of getting reelected now are about as good as myself getting elected into office and I'm not even a American citizen.
This guy is done, his endeavors now will be to try and keep himself out jail and work toward sustaining has failing business empire.
He had his chance but totally ruined it himself, placing a permanent black mark onto his character which he will have to carry for the rest of his life .
He should have never gotten into politics and just stayed a American business tycoon.
i keep hearing that the watchtower org is going to be around forever because of the many other religions that have been around a long time.
but i disagree because the wt is not like other religious cults.. the watchtower's breath of life is dependent on the last days that started in 1914. .
you can’t change 1914 without a death blow to the entire organization.. the watchtower's 2nd reason for staying alive, is it's continual urging that the life saving preaching work of warning people is the most important work ever.. but- it's very obvious to many, even the old ones that instead of speeding up the work------the work is slowing down to a drip.. comment by former believer; .
Well the GB heads have already rewrote the words in the bible by saying generation(s) instead of generation, so whats stopping them of doing more revisions or twisting and manipulation of scriptures ?
For example they could say all generations from 1914 forward who preach Jesus's new Kingdom are being righteous and loyal to Jehovah.
I would even guess they would drop 1914 altogether and just say we are true loyal preachers of god's will and purpose in proclaiming god's new kingdom to come... etc.
New light is a coming, new understanding through god's holy spirit and guidance as they have proclaimed
