  Remembering Rutherford

  he seems to me to be the angriest and most ill-tempered of all the wt presidents, especially after his stint in prison and failed prophecies.. “regarding his misguided statements as to what we could expect in 1925, he [rutherford] once confessed to us at bethel, “i made an ass of myself.”” watchtower 1984 oct 1 p.24.

  rutherford died at beth sarim on january 8, 1942, at the age of 72.

  The fact is men such as C Russell and J Rutherford created a whole slew of theological bullshit and stupidity, then from that self proclaimed themselves the chosen ones (Anointed) to build up their own personal identity of themselves as being supposedly righteous and loyal to god.

  They weren't, if men say things that god has not given them to say through scripture they are false prophets (Apostates), true loyal Christians should not listen to them.

  In essence they created their own power and control as being outspoken apostate sinners, people followed them to their own folly and demise.

  What are your personal reasons for hating the Jehovah's Witnesses religion ?

  first thing comes to mind is that this organization through its leaders are not witnessing the true and honest version of the gospel teachings of jesus christ .. they are subjectively teaching/preaching a tainted version made up by the top controlling men of the organization, which i'm sure is connected to the proliferation and distribution of literature which these men publish themselves.

  when jesus said that no one knows of the time not even he, he didn't say a select few will know .. the other thing that bothers me is this organization promotes human ignorance on many levels, admonishing education or knowledge that mankind needs for its very survival... there are many other religious organizations that do this as well but the jws is just one of these organizations.

  If you dont accept the power, ignorance and corruption that operates within the organization your in trouble, be vocal about it and your in real big trouble.

  The fact is the JWS is a highly controlling religious cult when you do a close analytical review of it.

  20 Years Occupying Afghanistan, Nothing Achieved

  so the occupation of afghanistan is coming to an end and, as predicted, they achieved absolutely nothing in that 20 years apart from:.

  the death of 2,300+ service personnel and tens of thousands more seriously maimed or injured.. handing $billions or even $trillions of taxpayer dollars to defence contractors (so the military industrial complex wins, even if the military doesn't have a clear victory).. has this lengthy but short-term military occupation really changed anything in the country?

  it doesn't appear so.. i said at the time that the us wouldn't have the staying power to enact real change.

  I think the only way to overturn a country such as that is by itself internally, under its own power, military and self determination..

  It unfortunately takes a lot of money and the right people in that power to accomplish this..

  What would happen if the Watchtower decided no more meeting at Kingdom Halls, only Zoom?

  i’m seeing my hard core believing relatives slowly losing faith that the watchtower is the organization that “god” is using to represent him on earth.. just about all the churches in their area have opened up.. but not the watchtower.. this is having an affect on the faith of even the old timers.

  now the only ones who are still holding the faith are the female jws and only those past 70 years of age.

  even my old male jw relative past 70 are starting to say that it can’t be jehovah’s organization because the other churches are all open and god supposed organization who is supposed to preach the warning message is still closed with no open in sight.

  I would guess the eventual end of the JWS.

  If you could pick out critical errors to the JWS religion what would it be ?

  many that have come to this forum have left the jws religion and moved on with their lives but from a outsider's viewpoint what do think makes the jws religion wrong or incorrect as a active christian faith ?.

  somethings come to mind such as its long continuous end times/armageddon soon doctrine which has really been a core doctrine for decades going right back to its beginning .. maybe they should have adopted the stance as other christian based faiths and adhered to jesus's own words when he said " no one knows of the time not even he ".

  Since when was there a copious amount of sex perverts in JWS congregations ?

  There was always fornicators and adulterers but those actions aren't necessarily considered sexaul perversions.

  Yes that's something ironic and a bit corrupt when people give needed money within their congregation to the HQ of JWorg. when the accounts held by the organization have millions in them.

  Yes such a respected person from within the country itself and around the world from other countries too.

  So America needs a president who was impeached twice and started a violent insurrection against the in place government buildings and people working there ?

  Aw..... that's sound logic.

  Oh he shock things up alright but not necessarily in a good way.

  I think he brought a huge amount of shame and disrespect not only toward Americans themselves but from all around the world.

  He did support big business in the country so from that perspective he was helpful.
