The examiner, Dr. Andrew Baker, released the 20-page document late Wednesday evening with the permission of Floyd's family and their legal team.

After initially suggesting an underlying heart condition and potential intoxication combined with being held down by three police officers was behind his death, the medical examiner released a final ruling this week of "cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdural, restraint, and neck compression."

This basically means he went into cardiac arrest brought on by his restraint from the three officers – one of whom, Derek Chauvin, had his knee against Floyd's neck for almost 9 minutes.

Here's a look at some of the key points from the report:

– Floyd had blunt force bruises and abrasions to the forehead, face, and upper lip, as well as the shoulders, hands, elbows, and legs, and bruising of the wrists, consistent with his handcuffing.

– He had severe arteriosclerotic heart disease. He also had an enlarged heart and a history of hypertension.

– He tested positive for COVID-19, but this wasn't listed as a contributing factor to his death. Baker said the positive result "most likely reflects asymptomatic but persistent PCR positivity from previous infection," noting that the virus can persist for weeks after the onset and recovery from the disease.

– A toxicology report found traces of the synthetic opioid fentanyl, as well as emethamphetamine

if you go to a restaurant, do you tip and typically how much?

if you were given a 90 minute time frame to eat at a restaurant, would that restriction limit your tipping to the waitress or waiter?.

also if you order a coffee and donut and pick it up, do you contribute to the “tip jar” that’s on the counter?

I tip on the bases of the quality for the entire experience.

From the table settings and comfort while seated, the time for the prepared food to come to are table, the waiter's attentive behavior and finally the quality of the prepared food.

I've left a 20% tip on occasion right down to only leaving a 5% tip if things went totally wrong.

I have also on occasion tactfully stated to the check out person what I found was wrong with the dinning experience.

The thing is I only go to restaurants that I know that are good from personal referrals.

Its her choice of course but I think she will not abdicate , that she will let the throne be turned over to Charles upon her death.

It's important to keep to the prevailing facts and separate oneself from any emotions that people can develop, and as one can see there has been a lot of emotions created out this unfortunate event .

No I say that that from the actual clinical autopsy report.

The media shouldn't be completely trusted for accurate information.

I accept that and so should everyone else.

The autopsy on Floyd showed he had Covid -19, add in the fact that he said he had a hard time breathing during the altercation, possibly this aided toward what physically happened to him ?

Also the autopsy showed only traces of fentanyl in his system .

The long enduring pressure against Floyd's neck by police officer Chauvin was the cause of him blacking out and eventually dying.

If officer Chauvin lets say placed his knee only onto his shoulder area he probably wouldn't have blacked out and gone into cardiac arrest.

There have been other people who have died from a police officer's choke hold during a physical altercation.

At the time Floyd did have pertaining health issues, some caused by illicit drug use.

So because of that this possibly aided toward the outcome of the physical arrest to what happened to him..

A full autopsy report on George Floyd, the man who died after being restrained by Minneapolis police last month, reveals that he was positive for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. The 20-page report also indicates that Floyd had fentanyl and methamphetamine in his system at the time of his death, although the drugs are not listed as the cause.

In video taken by bystanders, Floyd, 46, is shown repeatedly pleading that he cannot breathe as he is held down with a knee on his neck by former Minneapolis Police officer Derek Chauvin, with three other officers present. The incident has sparked nationwide — and even worldwide — protests.

Floyd's death has been ruled a homicide.

The autopsy report from Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office concludes the cause of death was "cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression." That conclusion, death due to heart failure, differs from the one reached by an independent examiner hired by the Floyd family; that report listed the cause of death as "asphyxiation from sustained pressure."

This medical examiner's report does not mention asphyxiation. However, according to prosecutors, in charging documents filed last week, early results "revealed no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation."

The medical examiner's report also details blunt-force injuries to the skin of Floyd's head, face and upper lip, as well as the shoulders, hands and elbows and bruising of the wrists consistent with handcuffs.

Signed by Dr. Andrew M. Baker, it says Floyd had tested positive for the novel coronavirus on April 3. A post-mortem nasal swab confirmed that diagnosis. The report notes that because a positive result for coronavirus can persist for weeks after the disease has resolved, "the result most likely reflects asymptomatic but persistent ... positivity from previous infection."

In addition to fentanyl and methamphetamine, the toxicology report from the autopsy showed that Floyd also had cannabinoids in his system when he died.

Floyd also had heart disease, hypertension and sickle cell trait — a mostly asymptomatic form of the more serious sickle cell disease, an inherited blood disorder that primarily affects African Americans.

On Wednesday, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison announced upgraded charges of second-degree unintentional murder against Chauvin. The charge carries a maximum penalty of 40 years in prison.

The arrived paramedics took his pulse which there was none and checked his eyes, the paramedic right then said I think he's dead.

So how could a man in that physical state speak ?

Aussie covid situation I got vaccinated anyone else?

record 747,000 new cases yesterday but in australia we have no new infections except people flying into quarantine from other countries.

we are 116th with 29,000 confirmed cases.

i work in a hospital so received astra zenica vaccine 2 weeks ago with no bad symptoms.

Yes I just recently got it a couple of days ago.

I had a slight fever and fatigue the following day but all good now.

I will take the other vaccines available in a month's time just as a reassuring back up.

Everyone should get vaccinated, millions have done so with great productive results with very little adverse side effects from taking these vaccines.

The virus will still be floating around once governments remove social restrictions, so its good idea that everyone get these vaccines.

These vaccines aren't completely 100% effective in blocking out the virus for everyone but if you do get Covid and its newly discovered variants they will lessen the severity of the apparent symptoms if you do.
