What is your status (as of today) as a Jehovah's Witness?

active believer...still attend meetings, go out in field service, believe it's ''the truth''.

active non-believer... go to meetings and field service to please family... living a double life .

inactive believer...don't attend meetings but believe it's the truth, one day might go back to kingdom hall.

I've gone way past the JWS experience , even though I was brought up in this religion from birth, left it on my own accord no DF

I now try to revert people to accepting that religious beliefs are mostly inherently based upon human ignorance and fear which has and can cripple mankind toward resolving problems as they appear in this physical world of reality..

I would consider myself a secular humanist with no personal belief in gods or spirits.

I also accept the fact that some religions do inspire people to do good for one another which I acknowledge without reservation.

much discussion now about the fallout that is coming due to impacts of the pandemic combined with the long-term downward spiral of jw.org.

i am active as a pimo and my wife is pimi....much of our personal conversation and conversation with others in jw land focuses on how things will play out for jw.org in the next 12-24 months.

I wouldn't be surprised if all the Awake and Watchtower printed magazines are gone soon.

At least in North America and certain European countries.

They will most likely only keep printing small tracts on occasion, as hand outs and to place on street carts, possibility bibles as well .

Must look righteous in the public's eyes.

If all I been hearing about is true involving so many Kingdom Halls being sold off , that in itself is a indication this religion is on a downward trend in numbers .

The Top leaders of the Org (GB) have still millions to use at their discretion so they may produce expensive video productions and whatever strikes their fancy but eventually the money is going to steam out the door and they will try then to make some dramatic changes.

I think why this has come forward by J Biden is because they see some States only have a minimum wage of $7.25 .

Thats quite low and I hate to think what would that be like to live off

It seems that the set minimum wage hasn't really been kept up to the cost of living index,. so maybe there needs to be an adjustment, at least in North America .

Putting into law a set minimum wage kind of blocks unscrupulous employers to exploit young venerable people to their advantage.

There one other thing to be realize based upon factual evidence is that 10% of people who have contacted the Covid virus have produced long term side effects.

Not a nice thing to experience I'm sure.

There were some mistakes made by certain localized governments but then again what experience did these officials have to use as planned textbook of controlling an assuming deadly virus pandemic ?

The information they received was infused with ignorance as well during this pandemic.

Lets just say this organization blurred and confused the perception of what was righteous and true., there was always a perseverance of hype that this organization was more righteous than other christian based faiths which were all labeled false religions.

Once leaving the Org. one can truly see that this is not true, its just a enforced brainwashed perception orchestrated by the top directors of the Org.

I was constantly analyzing was this organization to which I belonged really righteous, honest and true ?

Did it uphold the basic tenets of Christianity in speaking the truth as instructed by Jesus Christ ?

Eventfully I concluded this was all a mind F to control people with deliberate and intentional acts of coercion, fear mongering, exploitation and manipulation.
