  Political campaigns disgust me

  i do not care if you endorse the republican party, democrats, independents, or even the green party.

  but to see such inordinate amounts of money go into campaigns disgusts me.

  the economy is flailing and people are homeless and starving, all the while these fatcats live high off the hog and mingle at dinners while kissing one another's asses.. this is not a post directed specifically at any candidate.

  I think at the top levels Democrat and Republicans have exactly the same politics...

  those of self enrichment and screw everybody else.

  Political division are diversions.

  There was a brother who I used to meet at quick-builds who was related to Tommy Cooper, and he looked like him, he did tricks for people and the elders told him he shouldn't do 'magic' as it was demonic, the poor guy was so upset.

  Of course it has ThiChi, i'm not trying to say it hasn't, but all we seem to here from the government when any problem comes up is

  'since 9/11...'.

  The government passed through congress, straight after 9/11 many extra billions of dollars worth of spending on the back of 9/11, and this went through un-protested by everyone due to the impact of the attack.

  But the economy was on it's way down BEFORE 9/11 and so using it as an excuse for all ill's is wrong.

  the recent algerian earth quake has claimed over 1,000 lives.

  quakes hit without warning, indiscriminately killing hundreds in just a matter of seconds.

  quakes strike terror in the hearts of people who then become so gripped with fear they are driven from their homes.

  But what would that matter. If a perfect person was caught up in a natural disaster and a poor algerian, they would both be in danger, wouldn't they?

  Natural disasters are just that, natural. If god created the world then he must have created the weather and the continental plates that cause earthquakes.

  The world is constantly moving around and this has happened since it was formed and will always continue.

  Posters That Seem To Have Vanished Off The Face Of The Earth...?

  there are some posters that, for no apparent reason, seem to have disappeared recently.

  these do not seem to be the subject of "verbal" abuse or self-resignation, but they just, well...vanished!

  and they all were very active prior to their spontaneous combustion.. those who come to mind are:.
