  Reading Awake-Equivalent to College ?

  the w t s said that if you are currently keeping up with ALL your

  awake magazines, reading them diligently then this is equal to a College Degree!

  Which to me was completely absurd, they might at least compared it to a class,

  however taking into consideration the audience they attract , i suppose this isn't

  to absurd after all.

  Just thought someone might have that info, if you do thanks in advance, if not

  perphaps some will get a laugh hearing this.

  I think it's all in the eyes of the beholder. i try to live by the Golden Rule

  Do unto others as you would have them do unto you !

  I am no phony, i belive to thine own self be true, hold up for what is right.

  Let no one do your thinking for you God gave us all a brain,and in most cases

  the ability, to use it.I belive in honesty in all matters of life, i can't tolarate

  liars, I'm a very humble person, i don't think i'm better than anyone,

  matter of fact we all fall short of gods glory, this i learned from my

  Grandfather who was a Southern Baptist Minister.

  Yes i belive he is in Heaven. I'm told i can't tell anyone no

  i go out of my way to help people, my faults are i want others to be the same.

  When their not then i don't associate with them.

  Never try to be something your not, i tried for about 45 yrs.

  To jjrizo; I just listened to the tape of your j d c hearing

  made me so sad breaks my heart you see i know how it feels,

  I was dfd in 73 never given a reason why i never understood how

  these men can have no human compassion in them what so-ever.

  did i ever get over it ? no and never will. i don't want to be a party to

  people like that. Thanks for the info but brought back to many bad

  memories.

  i absolutely detested the watchtower study.

  never did an hour go by so slow.

  there would the 20 or so paragraphs that had to read and answered, and i would watch the clock.

  Yes i also agree the wt. study was by far the worst .

  Because this is where the most indoctorination is imbeded

  into the brain, it almost drove me nuts to sit and listen to

  their off the wall new light on the bible.

  However, I don't have to subject myself to that anymore thank God !!!!

  Events leading to Great Tribulation

  i have believed that the great tribulation begins with some sort of nuclear attack on the united states.. events are emerging which increase the probability of such an event.. the archrivals at the end scene are the us and russia.

  russia is in a dire state.

  its economy hangs by a thread.

  Do you trust your instincts?

  its strange most of my life i have always gone with my instincts and they have proved most valueble, for instance i seem to sense things that will happen on a daily basis and most of the time my instincts are right.. like today i knew my landlord was going to evict me so he could renovate his house and i was right, today i got call to say he,s given us notice to leave.. also few years back i got robbed, and for some strange reason i knew my so called best friend did it,and days later i found out he had robbed me.. i seem to pick up a vibe from somewhere almost as if someones telling me something thats happening or going to happen.

  its strange it must be some kind of sixth sense.

  why didnt it work though when i was fooled by jws.

  MY dear larc no i certainly do not have any magical powers, he he,

  and no i can't predict the future, no i do not tell anybodys fortune,

  but belive me, i do have a 6th sense!!!!!!!

  No i don't sit and mediate about whats going to happen today,

  but if it's a very very different day belive me, i will know it!!!!!!!!!!

  Remember as jws we were told these kinds of things were demonism,

  i for one know better than that, i'm not so simple minded,

  anymore to belive anything they procrastinate about.

  I know it sounds off the wall, wacko, or whatever, but i tell you

  honestly it is real.

  Just my thoughts on this discussion.

  I think whats being discussed here is 2 different things entirely.

  Knowing something is going to happen or just thinking, something

  might be going to happen, not knowing what the feeling is that's

  making you uncomfortable, there is quite a difference in these two feelings.

  I'm talking about E S P here yes i do possess a 6th sense,

  although I do not pursue this gift,I know exactly whats going to happen

  and when it's going to happen.

  The difference in thinking it's going to happen ( this is anxiety )

  and or knowing it's going to happen ( this is the extra sensory precipitation )

  that some of us gifted do have.

  this board has helped my wife and me, it has given her great ppl to talk to and share her life with.
