I am told that I am very laid back, easy to please, easy to get along with, have a good sense of humor. I work very hard but I don't socialize very much with people in my neiborhood (I think this is because I don't have anything to say to them). I do socialize with people at work though.
On top of that, if you look at my pic, I am gold plated, rigid as hell, bald, and practice yoga. What a stud I am!

I think each individual forms their own perception of each person they meet. I dont put much credence in group judgments. So do I have to write 7,152 answers just for the people that post on JWD, let alone the people I meet in my real life?

Truthfully, my acquaintances, golfing friends, family, employees and cat would all say I'm a hard taskmaster and my wife says am an SOB! How's that?

I am perceived differently by different groups and settings. In some groups I am a humorous center of attention, in other groups I am considered serious, organized, professional, and knowledgable. In other groups I a scatter-brained and disorganized. And some few think I am an evil asshole ... like several posters who falsely accused me of a pile of bovine excrement last January through March until they left JWD. Most seem to see me as rather serious, professional and having specialized knowledge in some subjects ... and to a large extent I see myself as more humorous, but with my serious side. None of this helps you, and for good reason ... half of our relationship perceptions are not based on what is true of the other person, but on how we see and perceive them. This is why lasting relationships are a tenuous miracle at best.
