Had tooth pulled-tremendous pain

yesterday i had an abscessed wisdom tooth pulled.

the pain now is much more severe then before it was pulled.

the worst pain is where the dentist gave me the local injections-it hurts so bad!

I went to the doctor today and was told I'm going to hell!!!!!!!!!!

i went to my gp today.

i go there quite often since he's also my parent's doctor and i bring them to all their appointments.. i take my dad there at least once a month for blood work since he is on blood thinners, so i'm very familiar with the lady who draws blood.. today i had to have blood drawn myself, and the lady inquired about my parents.

she asked if they had had a nice christmas.

When are you people ever going to learn? You ALWAYS need to keep your "get out of hell free" cards with you at ALL TIMES! I would be in hell at least three times if it weren't for the cards I carry with me in my wallet!!! When they see it you get the classic "WTF" look? Really brings a twinkle to their eyes and a song in my heart. Think of this as the ex-JW blood card.

i hated mine.. long story.. don't ask.. just glad it's over and glad stores are open again.

i always feel isolated and 'insecure' when civilization has ground to a halt because of a holiday.. i'm just ranting, need the stress relief.. hope your holidays were alot better than mine.. i am not looking for pity here, just needed to rant, thanks for listening.. .

lol I'm not the only one that feels that way I see! It's a really strange feeling when I go to the mall to see a movie and the cars are in front of the theater while EVERYTHING else is totally empty. I feel like I stumbled into some apocalyptic movie and everyone died and I'm the last one around.

I work in retail so, yes, I'm glad it's over for another year. 6 weeks of Christmas music is enough to make anyone crazy.

amen! When I worked at the mall during Christmas that sure cured me of wanting to go to the mall during christmas! The music just makes me cringe now.

I went to the mall during this season for the first time in years and years. I had a hot Israeli women drag me to her booth and shine my nails so I guess this trip to the mall was worth it.

i'd like you all to tell me 2 or 3 things:.

1- were you raised a witness or not?.

2-if you were, was your family very "theocratic" or not so much?.

1. yes since the age of 5 or so.

2. half and half. my mother was the only JW in my family and my dad didn't really care. I went to the meetings but never got baptized or spoke at the door, etc, because too much of what was taught just never made sense and the people were too hypocritical. I can't sell someone something I don't believe in myself.

3. apathetic overall, but if had to put myself in a category would be atheist. Religion just doesn't interest me (it never did) and bores the hell out of me.
