I know @Perry on these forums believes in the Biblical flood. Curious what they think of this.

The Dinosaurs.
by I Faded Twice inwas anyone else taught that dinosaurs even old t rex was a vegetarian ?
i remember as a kid my parents contradicting what school taught.
they reasoned that meat eating was not allowed before the flood.

As a young one, I remember trying to debate alternate explanations (other than meat eating) with a classmate as to why predators have canine teeth.
How foolish I was.

Charles Darwin was a gift to humanity.
He was a brave and brilliant man who revolutionized our understanding of life on earth.
Since leaving the cult of Jehovah's Witnesses, he has become one of my personal heroes.

Two witness rule: who cares?
by _Morpheus ini find people railing against the so called “two witness rule” puzzling.
i think its a complete and total non issue.
for those that protest, argue or advocate for change in that rule, why?

Protesting the "two witness rule" brings to light the greater absurdity of the Watchtower and all of its policies.
It causes people to exclaim, "What molester molests with witnesses!? What a stupid rule!"

The Cosmos an orderly created universe by a God ? or is it a chaotic universe without order or arrangement by any God ?
by smiddy3 inor is the universe just following the natural laws of physics etc,etc.. i remember when i was "in" talks and books by the society highlighted the order of the universe went like clockwork ,sun ,moon and stars all in their relative positions and not one out of their place .. however the advancement in science of the universe / astronomy shows a much more different picture that demonstrates a more chaotic realism of what actually goes on out their in this vast universe .. black holes , which can merge together , galaxies colliding and merging together , large meteors ,some of which have crashed here on earth ,supernovas ,stars being born and stars in their death throes .. just some of the things off the top of my head ,apparently their are many more.. i look forward to comments and some good book to read on the subject..

If you look hard enough you will find patterns in many things. Probably just coincidence in a chaotic universe.
Kind of like when crazy coincidences happen to humans and they believe it's a higher power guiding their life.

Animals
by unsure inif humans have to suffer to have free will and to disprove satan's challenge to god as mentioned in the bible...then why the f*ck do animals have to suffer as well?
.
satan's challenge involved humans and not poor animals.. i'm looking for an honest explanation from believers.. at this point, the older i get, the less i believe in a god who is "love"..

You are not alone. You are never alone. We are here for you and I'm sure there are others outside these forums who care about you.
I'm sure you've seen some beautiful wildlife when you lived in isolation. Even then you were not alone; you were and are still surrounded by life even if not human. If you ever feel alone because there is no other person around...look forward, look up, look down and you will see life all around you. It may not be able to speak to you or you to them but they are there surviving along side you.
Try to be like these non human creatures and live in the moment, not over thinking when you can help it. This is what I try to do.
