Ive asked my JW friends that 3 times and never got an answer.

They got uncomfortable when i would ask, like they were afraid to tell me because it would turn me off, or that they dont believe it and it sounds unBiblical (cause it is)?
What are the "lay ppl" JWs called then according to the Org. Only reason i ask these questions is because i cant find the answers on JW.org

i think the watchtower is the only organization that can promise a product (everlasting life) and never deliver it.. what fools we've been to believe this nonsense..
You will be surprised to find out how many people can't care less about living forever, but join because they are promised that all their current problems will be solved or are no longer important because they will disappear. That's the catch; that's what people fall for.
They should have joined Joel Osteen's church. He says every sunday how all God wants is for your business to make a lot of money, you to find that perfect GF/BF/spouse and you to have everything you ever wanted here on earth NOW.
Im pretty sure he doesn't even speak of an afterlife. Ive never heard him anyway. But you can have "Your best life NOW" free of any pain or bad thing.
there are no authentic/uncontested bible verses that prove a trinity.
the trinity doctrine is arrived at by inferences - not unlike the way that jws arrive at the doctrine that jesus is michael the archangel.
the jw proof texts against the trinity are at least as strong, if not stronger than, trinity proof texts.
It almost seems like they view the NT as an inconvenience my little experience with them. It seems like they would like it much better if they were Jews and didnt have to even deal with Jesus. But then again maybe in wrong?
im starting a counter-watchtower magazine for everyone to give to their jw friends and family or just to give to those that come to your door.
the first issue is about the history of pyramidology of c.t.
russel and under the start of rutherford along with some other things like pointing out the fact that no one knows the translators of the nwt or writers of the watchtower, "the two very things relied on to teach you".. its writen in such a way to be very repectful but to make the reader think, and hopefully the light come on.
I am doing it, half done.
No it wont be called "Counter-Watchtower" that would be the worst turn off name you could have! But it will be A counter to the Watchtower if that makes sense? As for the cover it will be a old, old section of the words "Watch Tower" cut out with a bunch of other scrap book style old cutouts mashed up. Even if it is infringement which im sure 1900s watch tower doesnt have protection and i am making no money off it, and they have to find me. Its no difference than taking a photo copy of their pages or books that will be in it. I think its covered under some kind of journalism thing, but i have no idea really.
And yes i would like as many proof readers as possible, i will post a draft in about a week. And no its no going to be my sloppy texted from my phone like this is. Im also being very cautious to not make it anti JW, but mostly let them read what WT has said. With a few questions they can make up their own answers to at the end.
my experience with jws that came to my house started me on a journey of learning the truth about "jehovah's organization".
it didnt take long for me to stump them with bible questions that show what jw org teaches is not biblically accurate.
i hope when i lay on them 6 pages of their history (which will later be a counter-watchtower magazine) the light will come on when they read about pyramids and see photos.
My JW friends (a family) they seem pretty knowledgeable about the J Org and the Bible itself, like they actually read it for themselves and know the stores. I guess maybe the husband is an elder? He did part of the speaking at the service. But when i questioned the fact that we have no idea who translated NWT and that it is so different from every other Bible translation (that all others are alike) and we know the who the translators are and their degrees and schools, yet the NWT we have no idea if they even know Biblical Geek or Hebrew whats the logical outcome? Isnt that logical? And at that he said "yes it is logical, we can use the KJV and NASB". My guess is thats an uncommon response from a JW.
Also once when i spoke with the wife about how one is saved, she nailed it Biblically, " saved by grace thru faith, not of works" and we talked in detail about what the what the Biblical roll of works is, and James. And i was shocked she was right on. And that seems uncommon too from what i hear. Now if they really believe that i dont know? We even talked about someone that has true faith in God but goes back and forth hooked on drugs if she thinks such a person is saved and the said "yes", which i agree. That seems very much not like the JW view at all! But the service was all about works... And being perfect or pretty much God doesnt love you is the feeling i got. They are mid-late 30s so maybe thats why? Both born in.
does jw org claim to have translated the nwt into other languages from greek/hebrew?
because if they did claim that they would have to have biblical scholars in biblical greek/hebrew from every language, that would be a ton of ppl!
and take a lot of time!.

Now I know from reading the English NWT that it was probably a few different english translations they used and modified words with a Strong Concordance like book. And Im sure thats what they did with the other languages...

I received an email back from JWfacts.com and they are in agreement "It sounds like a great idea."
