  various unlikely scenarios are offered in reply.

  once again, the arc has brilliantly highlighted the reality that any witness who either fades or disassociates is subjected to active official shunning by the organization.. the "brothers" tried to state that it was the choice of the indiviual who steps away from the organization to shun them!

  they actually tried to make it out to be the fault of the one who leaves!

  then they tried to say that those who fade are not shunned!.

  The most alarming thing is that the GB hid behind diplomatic immunity . That's their real character. Baptism of children is a crime when a church puts sanctions on the child for not being able to explore other beliefs .

  hi all.. this is a reasonable question and would love to know what you think is having the biggest impact on watchtower.

  there is a plethora of websites talking negatively of watchtower.

  there are the never ending court cases regarding child abuse allegations.

  INTERNET. It's the control of information which people base the beliefs and character on.

  WT undoing is all old literature has been archived by only the apostates . JW don't want to know about the crackpot writings passed 1960, really they would like to wipe all there history . They will have hire trump to flush their CIA style leaks. Like I said it's all the internet. Information is king. The worlds peace isn't threatened by armies with weapons, its the internet , if the internet goes down ,money stops , food runs out for all major cities in 3 days. I truly believe there could be a great tribulation, but only because I see the vulnerability of a world that totally relies on electronic money ,electronic money cannot be dispensed with the internet.

  I can't believe they still rule people's lives to the most intimate details. Done a great job PE . I had a quick look and am gobsmacked page 98 puts oral sex in the same category as bestiality . Well isn't the GBs bedroom life quite boring. But to impose such unbacked interpretation of scripture regarding oral sex is ludicrous. Just another case af creating more laws for the sheep.

  All religious politics is determined by votes, theocratic voting is to make sheep think it is gods guidance .They vote MS,Elders ect ect all the way to the top. Who sells most books gets most votes.

  The "Paradise" as promised by the Watchtower

  i was thinking today about the descriptions of the future "paradise" presented by the watchtower, and i was struck by something about it.

  most of us are aware that the watchtower promotes an interpretation of the apocalypse that would result in the immediate execution of 99.9% of the population with no hope for resurrection.

  additionally, we have been told about the large group of people that are supposed to side with satan at the end of the thousand year reign of christ.

  If a person who is disfellowshipped for an congregation offence that the WT no longer considers an offence . These persons aren't automatically reinstated , which prove God has zero input into who will live in WT garden. As a church WT focus on the blood and bone fertiliser left on the ground with the death of billions who didn't hear the message about the famous Pennsylvania printing company,its these poor souls who will fertilise their panda garden. Also all bird life just had smorgasbord on our sorry arses for not want ing allegiance to this corporation.

  when i was a jw, i was taught that i can never succeed in life if i leave the sect.

  now that i am no longer a member of the fold, how can i succeed in this only life i have and achieve my dreams?.

  Success, which is very subjective, can only come about by focusing on the future, and I mean your future. Set goals for tomorrow, try something new in your life. Religions use guilt as a control feature, don't feel guilty for doing anything that doesn't encroach apon another's liberties. If unsure about what directions to take in life ,take a look at people and groups from a distance , contentment and joy are easily picked up with our own intuition. All dreams can come true at the expense of energy, it all depends on how much energy you want to give.

  It's not an easy thing to do, that is created a legal system which is fair and just. When someone in a community violates a person of their right to live in peace. Murders ,theft, violence against innocent need deterrence. Legal systems in church's and nations always end in a system which everyone is guilty of some "crime" because of the implementation of hundreds of regulations.

  I've been awake 1 year today!

  it was a year ago today that my life changed completely.

  i'll never forget it.

  i had zero friends in the kh and was never included in the "guys" drinks, football games, parties etc.

  My intuition says you are a very honest hearted individual, I genuinely hope you can heal from the cult but with any family left in , it will be a reminder of your past. Doing little things for those in need is life's best therapy. We know that every life behind a user name on this forum , either has had pain or is in pain . Sharing your joys and pain is the only way to heal and celebrate. I shall light a candle of joy for you my friend. As flipper would appropriate say peace be with you.
