the first copy was printed july 1st 1879. well done watchtower!.

i am reflecting on my saturdays of jw past, where i would be just about ready to leave the morning field service group and go door-knocking.. honestly, i hated every second of field service, always keeping one eye on the clock, counting down the minutes until service would be over.. 12 years later since i last "preached", i am also reflecting on the sense of freedom i experienced (and still experience) when i definitively said "no more!

the cart!

at a red light by a little park in the center of the city where there were lots of tents set up and people selling crafts...on the corner by a bus step i see what i thought was an undertaker.
black suit...whit shirt dark tie...and it struck me odd why an undertaker would be there when the funeral homes are a way up the street.

It seems head office has done a .. if you can't beat them join them. Except Warwicks new music is shit , not even the Jewish Jesus would like this music. Give JWs a guitar, video camera and a bible ,and now you have the movies with music delivered by gods representative as an personal invitation to see God is good. The Witneses reckon that they are the only ones going door-to-door!
by Bungi Bill ini just had a visit from two guys who are engaged in a door-to-door campaign in the area, preaching "the gospel", and offering, to quote "the best news you are ever going to hear".
this was at 3:30 pm local time, an hour at by which all jws would have long called it a day.
while these two didn't identify themselves with any particular church group, it was quite obvious that they were neither jws or lds.

JW Parents and kicking out their children
by NJ501 inis it a common practice for jw parents to kick their children out of the home, if the child doesn't want to be a jw.
(even though their not disfellowshipped they will still get kicked out for not going to meetings etc.??).
do other religions encourage kicking family members out this as well?

It's to do with the conditioning of a Jw family, which the org want the same rules at the KH brought home, so any trouble on the home front can be dealt with kicking kids to the curb. This rejection of children is on par with their pedophile issues because those in need are violated by a greedy church. And for the GB to call Christendom a harlot when this wretched religion has done more damage to the family unit and literally bled believers dry .
