  yes folks.

  over the past few days i can honestly say the convention was relatively quite good.

  most of the talks, videos, symposiums were in line with scripture if you have faith in the bible.

  The partakers are on the rise , their in a dilemma the numbers are rising fast , prewarn to soften the blow to the RF , if the steam train of numbers can't flatten they will cease to count then give some bullshit excuse as to these mundane matters don't really matter. They will drink the koolaid no matter what flavour.

  so as i sit here listening to the sunday morning bs session the elder on the stage yapped about religion and that there can only be one religion leading to god.

  he used the illustration of a bicycle wheel.

  it has many spokes and they all lead to the center.

  Marry only in the Lord

  the second half of 1 corinthians 7:39 reads "...she is free to be married to whomever she wants, only in the lord.".

  so we all know that scripture for being doctrine for witnesses when they select a marriage mate and how they are strictly encouraged to marry amongst themselves and look down upon or marked if they marry an outsider.

  i have a friend who met a worldly man and when it came to light, her father gave her the option to end the relationship or to marry him, and she chose the latter.

  Marrying only in the lord works when there equal numbers, the unfortunate sisters and some good looking ones that are left with little choice but to choose a guy who otherwise would never have the personality to find a decent women. It's all about keeping the money in house.

  this is one story i doubt i’ve told before.

  for obvious reasons…it was 1969; the place, fort worth; the location, the star-telegram building in downtown fort worth, and i was a lowly janitor working for $1.60 an hour on the midnight to 8 am shift.you might wonder what a tall, good-looking 22-year-old was doing struggling at a no-future employment for slave wages.

  Terry you found the end of the rainbow and didn't take the gold. That brainwashed conscience got you , everyone weighs the odds of getting caught, but the boogie man got you. You won the lottery and burnt the ticket, but in life there is less violence with honesty. Think of sitting on beach like in movie shawshank redemtion. They prepared for their prison release.

  just before the month ends i would like to congratulate the watchtower magazine for completing its run of 138 years of publication.

  the first copy was printed july 1st 1879. well done watchtower!.

  as a reminder, let people remember that in its time this magazine has one of the world’s largest print runs for a periodical.

  Remember Your First Taste of Freedom?

  it's around 10am here in the northeast of brazil.

  i have just finished having coffee and a light breakfast.

  i am reflecting on my saturdays of jw past, where i would be just about ready to leave the morning field service group and go door-knocking.. honestly, i hated every second of field service, always keeping one eye on the clock, counting down the minutes until service would be over.. 12 years later since i last "preached", i am also reflecting on the sense of freedom i experienced (and still experience) when i definitively said "no more!
