Rookie exJW Question
by Phoebe ini was wondering if someone could help me with a question.. i am a rookie exjw, i only left the organization 4 months ago and everything i've discovered (un/arc/malawi/mexico etc) i've only discovered in the last few months so you can image it's been a huge shock to me especially after after 50 yrs!.
every time i think i've heard everything, something else pops up.. now i've come across a youtube video that mention tv evangelizer jimmy swaggart and the watchtower.
i remember jimmy swaggart from the time i lived in the u.s.a and i remember the scandals with him and prostitutes etc.

Phoebe it floored me emotionally when I found out that JWs died in Malawi for a GB decision based on very little facts, it was essentially a identity card because there was no opposing political party. To find out sisters were raped and murdered, houses torched for a religious political decision blows my mind. There used to be a member called Farkel read his stories it will enlighten you.

I think the place to have a judicial meeting is in a public area, most countries allow public recordings. As for illegal activities number one rule don't get caught, number two rule is if get caught is no comment to authorities.

JW Kids Bullying My Daughter
by pale.emperor intrying not to type swearwords as i write this so bare with me.. my little 3yo attends meetings with her jw mum (who doesn't believe watchtower anymore but is stuck in because she relies on her family for help).
my mum (the one who tells people im dead) had a party for her grandchildren.
that's my 4 nieces and 1 nephew aged from 3yo-11yo.

Pale the only decent person was your daughter and l hope she doesn't have to endure years of this cult backlash towards her. JWs look at the children of inactive or DF'd kids as dead anyhow. Hopefully for your kids sake your x wife leaves this horrible realestate company. That video nearly brings tears as she is the most perceptive person and she rightly knows her best friend.

The real reason is they don't want to share your contributions with any other church. They will put a religious spin saying the words pagan idols yet the real reason is all about control, just like a real narcissist.

Odd things that come to mind when buying something!
by stuckinarut2 ini was just thinking about the odd things that arise when out shopping.. i saw a bag the other day, and thought "that would be a perfect 'service' bag as it is just the right size for....oh hang on...".
and when buying nice shoes, the thought is there somewhere..."these will be comfortable when walking around the streets...".

To help me adjust mentally I just rightly tell myself I got conned by a slick American realestate company that has no salary . All the best bullshit artists wear the suits. The only thing I see athe shops that reminds me of JWs is the sign at the hardware store that says trespassers will be shot.
