  Blood Issue.......something for thought, where is the logic.

  i have yet to read about the contradictions in the jw teachings on blood, but i have personally witnessed one.

  i am a medical professional and have seen hemopure administered for an active jw who did refuse a blood transfusion.

  its not fda approved here, but given in special life saving circumstances.

  The blood issue is like the 1914 issue, they are totally trapped because of overprinting their 18 th century bullshit . If they change 1914 or the blood issue there honestly would be an exodus . The blood change would open the floodgates of litigation and I truly believe a bereaved parent of a child lost to blood might want some of big Tony’s blood on his door post.

  Is it a GOOD thing to be a sheep, or to be wheat??

  the bible passage at luke 15 speaks about being a "sheep who is lost".

  the shepherd looks for and brings the sheep back into the fold.. the passage at matthew 13 speaks about the righteous being like wheat - kept separate from the weeds.. but, there is an inherent problem with both passages!

  for what reason are the sheep saved?

  he came up with gems like, “weddings are for women, they are not necessary.” also, “if you want to be truly happy, marry an ugly woman.”.

  I would love to meet a CO who couldn’t run away. I would inform the ladies beside him that they aren’t allowed at his house to eat cheese. Then tell them he is a hate preacher who only weeks ago told an audience that destruction outside their church is the only solution for out planet. It’s easy to preach hate to right wingers but his coworkers might not be so receptive.

  Let's compare the sayings of Jesus and the modern day Governing Body

  imagine yourself still sitting at a kingdom hall meeting and turn to the book of mark 7: 21-23. the sayings of jesus are really profound.

  the scripture makes you think, reflect, enters your heart and produces results.. today, you have your modern day governing body ( who supposedly are the mouthpiece for jesus and jehovah and provide spiritual food for the 8 million followers).

  if jehovah really sends his holy spirit upon these seven men, is this silly and petty message they can come up with?

  Don’t compare the sayings compare the lifestyle . One is homeless one lives in 5star accommodation. One gets fed by strangers the other has meals delivered. One walked dusty roads the other shows pictures of dusty roads in Africa. One cried at the compassion for his neighbors the other printed a pamphlet showing his neighbors getting slaughtered by celestial powers . One fed multitudes without thought of conversion the other would certainly not share his meal with a homeless man.

  Facing my own mortality!

  i’m 71 years old now.

  seven decades plus.

  but, i put that in perspective owing to the fact that my older brother died in 1992 at the age of only 51. it was a very sobering time for me even though i was only 45 at the time.

  The problem with the “other side” is no communication back to this side , so we keep flying blind not knowing if their is a pearly gate. At least I’m grateful I didn’t give WT any more of my life and I know from the bottom of my heart that none of WT corps representatives will be judging me from heaven. Relaxes my friend everyone has regrets , learning to be at peace with oneself is the pinnacle of of life.

  Im Writing An Ex-JW Self Help Book

  we all know waking up from the cult and trying to leave is a very scary and life changing experience.

  for many it's traumatic and few find the transition easy.

  we have to deal with families cutting us off entirely or keeping us at arms length at best, lies being told about us by the organization, ex members gossiping about us and finding ourselves in a world very different from what we're prepared for.. for this reason, i've decided to start writing a self-help book informing jws of what to expect when they leave the org.

  For normal people l could say “you will make your mum proud” but I think your mum might include this book in her annual book burning. Wide Awake is good . Watchtower Repair Manual , Surviving Satan , When Love Runs dry , Lost 200 friends am I bad ? Black Sheep torch , The healing hangover,

  i cant wish you fame or fortune writing this book , but for every dear soul that benefits from reading will create a forever grateful person that you have helped heal and prevented suicide . Your motives are pure , we all wish you well.

  Do jw's have any concept of numbers re: population?

  i was just thinking about how jw's like to brag about having 8 million members world wide and thought i might look up just what those numbers really mean in the big scheme of things.

  back in the day when me & my jw were still discussing anything jw he thought that 8 million people couldn't be wrong.

  i tried to tell him what a minuscule amount that really is to no avail.

  8 million of them 8 billion of us. That’s only one in a thousand who serve god acceptably according to corporate teachings. Brother Jones and sister smith will enjoy the spectacle of ravens eating the local kindergarten kids.
