  honestly and realistically, what do you think the australian government will do, with watchtower, when they receive the full arc report?.

  As an Australian and like a lot of other countries, freedom of religion laws which are at the foundation of constitutional law allow for the different interpretation of scripture. So governments are very ineffective at implementing change that has anything to do with religion. Our dearest GB members have zero respect for the ARC by refusing a public apology to the victims and declining a cross examination on the findings. I don't think Geoffrey Jackson will visit his family in the near future while there is an inquiry in progress. These commissions in Australia cannot have a no comment response or plead the 5th . Anyone refuse to answer is held in contempt

  we have heard: “don’t share food with apostate.” what about sharing the air we all breathe in?

  whether apostate or believer, both breathe in the same air (which is more important than food)!.

  today i put this question to the couple who came to invite me for the memorial.

  Ask them for a meal and insist that you open in prayer, during prayer pray that the spirit may guide the governing body to publicly apologise for there failure in child abuse protection, also for the shunning of baptised children who later went for a look at another church. We pray for our dear brothers who killed them selves after a judicial committee.

  i'm glad we're all on here because we're all united in our realization and acceptance about the truth about the watchtower society.. i'm going to share my thoughts about the wts because i feel like this needs to go out there, if not just for the personal satisfaction of getting this out of my system.

  so here it comes, and if you all have some indignation about the wts to get off your system, please share them by posting as well!.

  We all just got duped by a clever counterfeit operation. Slick book printing, they had the answer for EVERYTHING. I thought I won gods lottery, of all the poor bastards he choose me , how lucky for me to be incorporated into the Pennsylvania printing companies free labor regime. Not only that I will try and keep my family company men too. I wouldn't have so much distaste for the JW church if people were free to go elsewhere to worship. There's hundreds of books written, blogs written to know that their teachings have Directly cause death, someone has to pay, Head office is directly responsible .

  The reality of "shunning" and character assasination highlighted at the Australian Royal Commission

  once again, the arc has brilliantly highlighted the reality that any witness who either fades or disassociates is subjected to active official shunning by the organization.. the "brothers" tried to state that it was the choice of the indiviual who steps away from the organization to shun them!

  they actually tried to make it out to be the fault of the one who leaves!

  then they tried to say that those who fade are not shunned!.

  If I was the judge on this RC , I would of turned it into a world spectacle, if I was young again and had the energy of youth I would choose to be a lawyer. Because as we watch the RC , we as xjw know that the commission could of nailed them better.

  i would ask these WT reps if the awake in 1947 which said disfellowshipping is a pagan practice, were these writings under the direction of gods spirit?Then wait wait wait for a solid response. If any response had a flickering light response I would unleash all the back and forth of doctrine. If I cross examined I would of crucified Geoff Jackson on his "presumptuous " comment. And that lying lawyer Vin the Toole who said he had never heard of theocratic warfare. I would definitely have brought the boys undone. Karma is real

  Talked to a JW at a literature stand today

  guys,.

  i need your help in trying to wrap my head around this strange experience i had today talking with a jw lady sitting at a literature table in a busy outdoor shopping center.. i'm a very shy person, but i always wanted to ask these jws at their literature stands questions to start them thinking about the validity of watchtower teaching.

  i finally mustered my strength today to talk to this jw lady.

  If I come across wittnesses who don't recognise me , I get the hypothetical story going.

  "Hi I have a very good friend who is a Jehovah witness and he no longer talks to his 18 year old daughter " then ask? " have they heard of any in the JW church been baptised at 12yo , they answer yes , "then ask are they free to examine other religions at an age of maturity", as they swirm pin them down on the story of your friends daughter. Tell them the father shuns this girl based on a decision the child made when she was 12. Ask them if there church still practices this arrangement. Ask why the prodigal son didn't have a judicial inquiry.

  Imagine if JWs decided from now on all children baptised under age 18 can freely leave the church with no family sanctions or or those sexually abused are free to leave also with no sanctions. There would be a lot of people claiming to be abused just to get the ticket out, but as soon as they had there first birthday party or Christmas it would be back to the shunning and the church court goes full swing.

  Who can explain why the "Two Witness" rule is wrong, in the simplest term?

  with all the legalese being tossed around, and the expert manipulation on the part of the wtbts, who can explain why the "two witness" is being perverted by the wtbts?

  i don't care if you're a bible believer and want to approach this from a biblical standpoint, or if you simply use logic and reason.

  how would you explain this subject to a j-dub, or even a non-dub?.

  There is NOTHING wrong with the two witness rule because nearly all nations judicial systems have checks and balances so someone can't accuse a person of something without supporting evidence. The problem with WT is it has to be two humans, a court of law allows other factors which can support the accuser , such as e.g body damage to support a assault charge. Doctor evidence regarding rape.

  just curious if anyone else has observed a more willingness by witnesses they know to openly discuss politics (out of the context of the "truth")?

  i have noticed it within my own microcosms of jws i know.. have you observed this?.

  i am sure with this last years political climate it's hard for anyone to resist chiming in.
