The PNW has pretty high property values especially in Seattle and Vancouver. If they want cash it makes sense to go after these areas along with California and parts of the east coast and that’s what they have been doing.

Mt: 24/luke 21 does not have a 2nd fulfillment!
by nowwhat? inthe bible clearly says a generation is 40 years (exodus and job) the 1st half of the last century saw wars, famines, pestilence.
if 1914 was the correct starting date the end should have came by the mid 1950's ( which the witnesses believed at the time) this fact alone proves beyond a shadow of a doubt.
jesus was only speaking of the events of the 1st century..

There are so many scriptures pointing to a 1 century fulfillment it’s crazy. The writers which wrote about it after the fact we’re talking about about the 1st century , I’m confident in that.

I believed and also thought Armageddon was going to be a major killfest but sometime in my youth or teenage years I just checked out. Yeah there were times when I thought I needed to do more , service meetings etc but in all reality I was still mostly checked out. Still don’t know why and have done a lot of soul searching trying to figure out when.
I do remember once during a talk thinking about how the people of London had to flee under ground to escape being killed by German bombs and really thought that that’s how it would be for us neutral JWs. The whole idea was scary to a young kid so maybe that’s when it happen to me. I mentally checked out after my mind couldn’t handle it, I don’t know.

Nambo, Russel wrote in his book Time at Hand 1889 that Jesus going to attack and Armageddon was going to take place in 1914 he had already come invisible and taken his kingdom in the years 1874 and 1878. It wasn’t until his next book that he confirmed the date 1914 for Armageddon using the great pyramid. -

If you baptized then tread carefully be vague don’t say anything that could incriminate you and just nod and go along. Then after he leaves go back to your regular life and be with your family that left. The elders will only try a little to get you back and then will stop trying.

There’s a ton of evidence that Jesus was just a myth a new god created from former gods. For one his travels around Galilee are not in directions that make sense. 2. Galilee only had a couple minor out posts and one little town. Jesus would not have been tried during the Passover week and the whole story about his trile and death at Passover was a telling of a previous festivals or religious act (can’t think of the name) where by the Jews would cast off one sheep with the sins of the people for the year in to the wilderness for the demons (Berabis) and then sacrifice a clean sheep (Jesus) to The Jewish god.
Everything is just a story.

Ignorance of Watchtower doctrine among young JW's
by nicolaou ini've been having a conversation with a young jw on twitter and have, once again, come up against beliefs that do not match up with official watchtower doctrine.
if you like you can read the full thread here (you'll need to click on some comments to open it all up).. anyway the upshot is that this jw, and many like her, believe that only truly wicked people will be killed at armageddon - not innocent babies and children or anyone who "didn't know better" perhaps because they didn't get a witness.
it's as though they cannot accept the obvious injustice of jehovah's morality.. this jw teenager believes that all these non-jw's who survive armageddon will get their chance to prove their loyalty during the 1000 year reign of christ - again, not a watchtower teaching.. i don't really have a question to ask, this is just an observation.

Most JWs don’t really have a clue what most of the doctrines are. I had an elder get pissed at me for informed him that Jesus wasn’t his mediator.

I realize that to think the earth is flat is just plain crazy but hey people are believing it to be true and those that put forth this idea used the Bible as a way to add credibility to the idea. I really do think in time 5 or more million people will believe the earth is flat. I’m thinking of starting the church of the flat earth for gods true believers. That way I can get rich too.
