So it was brought up lately that my lack of faith is partially do to stories in the Bible like the one in Samuel where god kills David’s first born son. The excuse I heard today wasn’t that god killed David’s son no he just didn’t bless him so then he died. WTF!!! 2 Samuel 12 starting in verse 14, you be the judge.

New Study Claims Children Raised Without Religious Indoctrination show More Empathy and Kindess
by fulltimestudent inthere is a controversial claim in this article, quite different to what christians usually claim.
it interested me, as i often wondered how as jws we could claim to be loving and kind (and certainly some were) yet, be quite callous about those who rejected our message.. you can find this story on this research at:.
https://www.patheos.com/blogs/danthropology/2015/11/study-finds-that-children-raised-without-religion-show-more-empathy-and-kindness/?fbclid=iwar3zhgjsc_valeb8csd4usq9hyu34goemdj6s3yllnmsdvoy9pnkpzojyz0.

Matthew 24:37-39 Proves That Jesus is Fictional
by APieceOfShitNamedTate ini was doing some browsing today on http://watchtowerletters.com and discovered a very thought provoking point.
the fact is that the flood of noah's day does not stand up to scientific scrutiny or common sense.
this becomes all the more apparent when considering an ancient story like the epic of gilgamesh.

He was also a liar Mathew 16 last two verses says he would be back in all his glory to judge and would do this before some of those standing with him yet died. Well their all dead and it’s been 2000 years and still no Jesus.

My apeal of disfellowshiping letter
by D wiltshire inthe first question is:.
i ask you would paul even think of doing such as thing as the wt has done here?????
i asked them not to keep double-talking me but to just come out and say what the charges are.

I would just say your baptisms is not valid because Jesus said he did not come for the righteous but only the sinners. State you were lead to believe your a sinner but after further review you are not but instead one of the righteous ones!

Does the GB/WT now ,ever talk about 6,000 years of human history ?
by smiddy3 inin c.t.russell`s time it was supposed to have ended in the late 1880`s ,when jesus christ was supposed to have returned in 1874 ,and armageddon was to have happened in 1914 according to wt publications back then .. around about 1968/9 they amended that time frame to the year 1975 as the end of 6000 years of human history ,and they said in their publications that it would be an appropriate time for christ jesus to begin his 1000 year rule over the earth.. which would align with wt teaching that a creative day was 7,000 years long.. i think the book was "life everlasting in freedom of the sons of god " wtb&ts .
my question is : do they still talk about 6,000 of human history ?.
do they still talk about 7,000 years as a creative day ?
-
Crazyguy2
Nope they don’t talk about the age of man or the age of the earth because they know it will just open up a can of worms and expose them. This is also why the JWs really don’t talk about much anymore or do any real deep study of the Bible. I mean think about it the end is so close yet they hardly ever mention the book of Revelations and never study it.

A Question For Active, Current Jehovah's Witnesses Who Still Believe In The Bible And Are Still Searching For Answers...(Matt. 7:7, 8)
by Observer1217 ina question for active, current jehovah's witnesses (visiting this discussion board) who still believe in the bible and are still searching for answers...(matt.
we remember the watchtower society has long taught there are no inspired persons on earth today, nor living in our modern times.
which explains their viewpoint concerning the governing body leadership today, saying they need not be inspired to correctly lead the congregation of god's people today.

Ezekiel And Jeremiah both got plenty of prophecy’s wrong , even Jesus said he would be back in all his glory to judge ones before some of them yet died, that also didn’t happen. Maybe inspired means loony toon false prophets.

Jehovah’s Witness who posted criticisms on Reddit can remain anonymous, judge rules
by Tameria2001 inhttps://www.sfchronicle.com/bayarea/article/jehovah-s-witness-who-posted-criticisms-on-13855357.php.
i had this article pop up about the darksilver case.
it says a federal magistrate in san francisco has now ruled that darksilver can remain anonymous but then it says except for identification to lawyers for the religion’s watchtower publication.
