  hopefully more are on the same path.

  here is the story..... this person i know was the model jw, and them and their spouse could have really moved up.

  they knew i was gone and awhile ago started asking me questions.

  the irony is my mom is so "different" most her witness family barely wants anything to do with her.. she has spoken badly about my own brothers to other witness parents.

  most witnesses who know my family and situation have said not even the bible has the answers to helping us.

Most witnesses who know my family and situation have said not even the bible has the answers to helping us. Now she is a elders wife and feels more entitled to telling others how to live there life. Im trying to patch things up. For being only 28, I've actually spend almost half my life not speaking to her. It's not even the fact my family doesn't want much to do with me. I haven't wanted anything to do with them. I've told people I never had a problem with the organization just with her. She has been DF 3 times. I only know why 1 of the times she did the other 2 she thinks I know but I actually dont.. she feels I would probably use it again her if we get into arguments.

  I was put into the Intensive Burn Unit..it went a bit further than corporal punishment.. Thanks Dio I understand my mom was under alot of stress. It doesn't excuse what she, but I've learned to forgive..But it took a long time to learn that.

  I'm trying to figure out why I would want to go around them also. For a long time I hated my mom which is why I stayed away.. I know alot of people in the group had simular experiences but mine is unique in its own way... my mom physically beat me pretty bad growing up to the point the state stepped because she put me in the hospital when I was 16..I've lived with anger and hate for a long time..My oldest brother who is still a witness gets it because he has recently admitted our childhood wasn't normal.. she told me "let's make plans next weekend"

  I've never been completely shunned because I've never been baptized. My father side has always talked to me and included me in family events. But my mom's side is in denial of shunning me. I text my mom to see what she is doing tonight (after her meeting) and her congregation is having a picnic. I said "am I allowed to go" I'm still waiting on a response...I haven't been to a meeting or memorial in over 10 years. But like I said I still get invited to some family functions. Not sure if this is a good idea or not. I don't plan on going back which I feel ultimately is the question she is gonna ask. But it's a good neutral zone and it's a public place.

  I defended myself when someone acted like it was a stupid question. I should have elaborated more. But I did say besides not getting older what's the point. And the first person who came along focused only on that aspect. You're the one who turned it into pissing match. You should go reread what you typed you got a error or two in your last post. I compared you to another posted about a dinner conversation that was had. You made a comment about use being lovers in a past life. Assuming you know we have multiple lives. Something you also couldn't possibly know about also. So your ability to identify sarcasm is as good as mine. I recognized I did jump on the person and tried to make it right but you felt the need keep pushing the subject. I made one dick comment and now I'm obsessed? The fact you say sex and gender are not synonymous and Google has all the answers for it I now know who I'm dealing with.. You keep putting words in my mouth so I'm not go to play into your social justice warrior BS. I went to see if you or Joho actually post good topics or if you just troll this site. You dont seem like trolls in any other posts so I some what reframed from treating you as such. You missed a T in the for 11. but my brain was able to fill in the gap.
