  New Spiritually Weak Label: Not Using Tablet/iPhone

  with last night's meeting it became official: here in the states is a must to keep up with 'jehovah's org' that one fully jumps on board with this tablet/iphone crap.. so, now, all of us that up to this point have refused to follow the wtbts in their electronic/wireless revolution will deal with the browbeating from the 'spiritual' ones.. already receiving lots of grief from hubby and rest of the family/close friends when seen at the meetings with paper publications.

  damn it!!!

  am i alone in this resistance???!!!.

  Here's another piece that I haven't seen talked about yet...

  So this pre-pubescent kid goes back to school and advises the other kid (who is grateful to be adopted and loved) that God hates her family. Non-JW kid tells her friends and teacher. The classmates tell their parents and the teacher tells the administrators. Parents who understand and teach tolerance without judgement tell their kids to avoid the crazy JW kid who says everyone but JWs will be dead after Armageddon. JW kid gets thrown under the proverbial bus by peers, teachers and administrators.

  JW kid now has no friends or sincere support from the school because of the ruckus caused and so mom and dad point at others and teach the JW kid that they're experiencing classic JW persecution. The behaviors of appalled non-JWs are then inaccurately perceived by the JW child for years afterwards.

  This video can only serve to ruin potential friendships for JW kids who are already set apart.

  To me, that is the sickest component of all.

  They appear to be setting themselves up for the court of public opinion when, and if, there's a contested will.

  They just have to convince the public that he loved "Jehovah" and wella! ...When the family comes forward to contest the Will the WTS doesn't look like a douchebag of a denomination for snatching his money out of the family's hands.

  Right now, it's looking like they have a dog in this race.

  so, talking with my wife yesterday.

  she was out cart witnessing (barf) and one of the people she was with claimed to have know prince, or meet him or something like that.

  well anyways...they or her or someone (they are all braindoogled) speculated or fantasized that since prince did not have any relatives or something or the other.

  Was just mentioned on MSNBC that Prince turned down Double Hip Replacement

  by a journalist, can't remember her name, but he turned down the operation because of the blood issue, she said he was hoping that perhaps their was another way to correct the problem.

  i certainly hope that one line woke some of his many fans about the jws.

  Non JWs won't take time to figure out what a protease inhibitor is or if there are alternate hip replacement options available. All we will hear is that Prince died because of some JW policy they say is in the Bible and they'll ask how'd THAT interpretation work out for Prince.

  I guess the JWs better brush up on their blood doctrine details if these theories continue to grow. 😒

  2016 Regional Conventions

  so i found where the places and dates are listed on the jw site, and there are 2 listed for my city.

  is there any way to find out which "region" is assigned to which?

  i want to know which ones the locals are assigned to.

  I'm in an area that seems to be densely populated with JWs.

  Everyone I ask is giving me the same location but a different date for attendance.

  Even congregations in the same hall are assigned to different dates.

  Are Witnesses really "Bible Students"?

  we were always told that as witnesses we were "sincere bible students".... carefully examining the scriptures.. yes, we were indeed taught much about the content of the bible, it's history, prophecies etc..... but it was always from one perspective....that of the society.

  when the society changed its interpretations, we had to do the same..... so were we really "bible students", or "society students"?.

  As a non JW, I can't even begin to tell you how hard it is to do comparison scriptures with my JW friends to have real discussions. No matter how humbly I approach, there is a wall I have a tough time penetrating.

  I know they're told everyone is wrong over and over so as I approach, i feel like their ears switch to Charlie Brown teacher mode and their comprehension levels plummet.

  Its so frustrating.

  Not much to worry about.

  As a non JW who suffers through a meeting here and there, eventually someone from the R&F will say something totally insulting and we won't come back

  OR

  We will feel the coldness of the room and we won't come back

  OR

  We will figure out there aren't refreshments after (like some churches) and we won't come back

  OR

  We will be totally uninspired by the awful music and we won't come back

  There's absolutely no holding us there.

  Hilariously without a plate being passed, we will be happy NOT to contribute to the world wide walking project.

  Won't yield much that will last. I guess they'll cut down on the insults.

  Maybe they are practicing alternate techniques for Memorial invites to get the numbers up? Or maybe they'll suggest that people who attend for then be begged to attend for the Memorial... You know... To get the numbers up. 😒
