venice,
with all due respects.....I find you to be extremely attractive.
please email me ..and confer me the honor to correspond with you.
i am a policitcal conservative, at least a fiscal conservative and sociel moderate.
i support the death penalty, but i agree that our judicial system needs to overhaul how wwe treat criminals to achieve better rehabilitation results.
and of course, withhold the death penalty in cases where there could be doubt.. in mcveigh's case, i believe that he deserves the death penalty.

i hereby urge every single one of jehovah's witnesses nationwide to stop going out in field service!
according to the january 1, 1989 watchtower, our obligation to field service officially ended last year!:.
the apostle paul was spearheading the christian missionary activity.
that is a very poor excuse coming from an organization which claims to be under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. a writing piece was "approved" in the absence of the governing body? a piece that was to be distributed and read by millions? how careless and stupid can you be? and now you want us to believe your "explanation" and not only that, to call and verify it from people who obviously are on your side as if they will classify you as a liar!! is the Holy Spirit dormant in the watchtower as to allow a person as you described him to be to continue to work in spite of how badly he is regarded among the "brothers? you, as well as every one in the jehovah's witness organization do not even deserve a spit in the face...my saliva is too valuable to waste on scums as JWs. although I would like to point out that many are victims of WT brainwashing and are unable to generate a single thought and realize that they are being imprisoned.
so we can see that the early jehovah witnesses believed that jesus parousia began in 1874. the truth book states this above and it is in all the old books.

this statement is coming from the organization that offered the scholarship and keeps written records of such.
well,
this was back in the late 80s, im sure they are done with it...i will ask my mother if she recalls...anyone here does?

I remember when I asked to be baptized, I was 15 and was given a "questionaire" to sign and one of the question stated something like...Do you firmly believe that Jehovah is disseminating the truth through the Watchtower Bible and Tract?...not in those exact words but the essence is there. weren't you all given a paper to sign before baptism?
simon did away with the sex forum - so i must take the tradional route and post under "make new friends.
" how mundane!.
fyi ---- for all of us, please take the time to write a sentence or two about yourselves, and encourage new ones to do the same.
Hello everyone,
Im rommel, 29 years old, hispanic living in miami. I was baptized at the age of 15, became a regular pioneer at 16 and a half, I asked to be disfellowshipped at age 21. Currently, Im finishing college, something my parents and the congregation discouraged me from undertaking. With God's help, I plan to write a book soon. Someday, I will post my story as an ex-JW for your amusement.
your new friend,
Serafin
i am a baptized witness... i've been around it most of my life.
i've been baptized for a while now.. just as a topic of thought, what do you think is the current state of the society/jehovah's witnesses today?
it seems like we're in the last days.... but then again, the last days have been going on for 60+ years!
Thanks everyone for your wonderful thoughts,
Certainly, my dad's comment on my daughter's passing away was out of line. This is the second time he has shown this cold-hearted attitude towards me. I guess he feels he is being loyal to the so called mother organization. I recall the years when I was "active", specially one instance when the body of elders were collecting goods and money to help the "brothers" in distress in nicaragua I think it was...due to a hurricane( cannot exactly remember which one at this time, I apologize), and I began to think...what about the rest of the population of nicaragua, these other people are suffering tremendously aswell! why only help those within the organoization? I asked an elder this question, and after being reprimanded for showing an independent attitude (that of satan), I was informed that those other people have the worldly to take care of them! that all the JWs can do is offer the hope of ressurrection. I became dismayed! I dared not answer, please recall I was just categorized as being satanic. I wanted to reply to the elder, "but brother[.....], did not Jesus offered to help those reguardless of their social, economic and religious status? does not the parable of the good samaritan come to mind? Can you imagine the concecuences of such a reply would generate? If I had chosen to do so, a judicial committee was to be imminent. I chose to take my satanic self home and call it a day.
Anyway, thanks to all of you for your support.
Serafin

Hello Friends,
This is my first posting on this forum, therefore, let me just say greetings to all and I hope our thoughts exchange be productive to us all. Yesterday i visited my mom and dad whom are Jehovah's Witnesses. My mom is a regular pioneer and my dad a ministerial servant. I (by choice) asked to be "disfellowshiped" for reasons I may some day post here for your amusement, (too long of a story).
Anyway, there was another Jw visiting my parents, and we were all sitting out the patio and the conversation suddenly turn a bit bitter, once I "attacked the mother organization as the appostate that I am". My dad said, after a two hour heated debate on JWs false phrophesies...(excuse the spelling)..."that is why Jehovah took your daughter..because you left the organization". Now, one of my twin daughters passed away four years ago due to neurological complications because of a seizure, my father reasoned that her death was caused by Jehovah..siting king david adulterous example with batsheba..(again excuse the spelling)...who gave him a child who later died...the argument, as I said became bitter because of their inability to respond neither biblically nor logically to serious questions I have laid before them. why am I commiting this bitter experience to writing? well, so you may "see" the extent a JW will go to protect their false "truth".
