Alcohol causes much more damage to the body and or society than pot does. The prohibition era brought us crime in the way of the mob, black markets and people drank just as much. The was was lost on that and its been lost on Marijuana for years the right wing nuts [one of the areas I break with the GOP] have just kept up the fight even though it bleeds money out of the coffers for nothing. It is a waste of time, money and lives in that they put in prison people for having a joint. How is on dope? Make it legal and regulate it. Tax it. Put the illegal pot growers out of business.

I don't agree Simon. First off in the US there is little to no studies because the Gov on the federal level has not allowed it. Its a schedule one drug with means it has no use medically at all and is highly dangerous. Which is Bull shit on galactic scale. Second its been used by people for well over 100 years and there has been no known affects that anyone has seen. Smoking anything by burning it is not healthy but edibles and vaping gets past that. It has been studied in other countries like Israel and no proof of it being a gate way drug or harmful or having long lasting issues. So many people have used it for so long that in and of itself shows that there is not much to this charge. Science would need to do testing but the big test is billions of people using it and you never hear of someone dying of Marijuana over dose because it is about impossible to happen. The same ass holes who say its evil will sit on the couch and sip a 7n7 and think nothing of the buzz they get from that. The domino's have fallen and the Feds can not pick up the pieces. Its a waste of time for them to keep going. I believe its over 30 states have now got it for recreation and or Medical. Even very red states like Oklahoma has it and that is the buckle of the religious nut bag south.
