You have reached a point in your life where your entire existence and all that you have known in regard to it could be changing. Psychologically speaking you have reached a turning point and are experiencing some culture shock. What is going on in your head is no different from a person who was brought up in a small village in the Amazon jungle and then was dropped right into the middle of New York City. What you have always thought to be true was all based on your protected mental environment. Now your mental environment has taken a radical change in all that you hear and see. This situation would make the most secure person question their sanity.

I think your reactions, questions, and insecurities are as normal as can be expected in your situation. I also think that you are handling this extreme life revelation very well. Give it some time. Take it one step at a time. Life is not all black and white or right or wrong. You have a bright mind, keep using it and it will help you come to the place you need to be. Many on this board have taken years to get to the point that they felt they might have most of it all figured out. Most are still searching, learning, questioning and forming opinions about many things. Again, give it time. You are doing very well.

what comes to your mind when you think of the great minds of the past?.

for me it is da vinci, michaelangelo, manet, monet, picasso, van gogh,.

jerome; closer to today nelson shanks and maybe daniel green.. musically: mozart, beethoven, chopin, hayden, bach.. science: darwin, hawkings, einstein, edisen.. psychology: freud, otto rank, ernest becker.. there are many other fields you could name and with them other creative geniuses and/or great minds.

I have always wondered about that kind of possibility. The fact that I have three son's by my ex-wife
and I could probably count the amount of times we had sex on an earth worm's left hand has always puzzled me.

My sons, for the most part are grown up now, 16,19 and 23. All three of them have artistic talent like me and Iv yet to see any one of them show an urge to deliver mail or install cable TV lines. I thought that maybe because my ex-wife was so attractive it must have been angels who came down to earth and impregnated her. The thought of knowing angels see us naked and doing stuff when we are naked has also bothered me.

After watching John Edward's TV show "Crossing Over" and coming to realize that our grandparents and great grandparents are always watching over us, I have started taking showers with my clothes on. The only thing that grosses me out more about accidentally seeing my grand mother naked is her seeing me naked.

The next time you are having sex and are running through sexual positions 52 through 78 think about your bedroom being filled up with all your dead relatives making comments and keeping score cards. The more I read or hear about spiritual things like angeles, demons, spirit guides, floating energy balls of dead relatives who watch over us, the more I want to remain celibate.

Imagine when you die and find out this is all true! You walk up to your dead grandma to give her a big hug and see pushes you away and in a discussed tone of voice calls you a pervert! Your grandfather then looks at you with a big grin and gives you the two handed thumbs up sign and a wink.

Imagine seeing your dear old great granny after you made that long journey up the big tunnel of light. You walk up to her and she sits you down and has a huge note book on her lap with your name on it and says,"we need to talk". She continues to say "according to my records you masturbated eight million seven thousand three hundred and seventy two times in you life, ...what do you have to say for yourself?" You look up at her with a stupid look of surprise on your face and again see your grand father off in the background laughing his ass off and slapping his knee.

I think if people really believed all this spirit and bible stuff the population of the earth would be in jeopardy of total elimination brought on by the simple factor of complete embarrassment.

I am considering changing my spiritual status from being an agnostic to an atheist. If I don't, I may never have sex again.

I think, I think too much.

It seems that your mind it is beginning to open up. Just remember you can use it as you please. You are smarter than you have been lead to believe. Go-head, use it, play with it, and kick it's tires a few times. Pretty soon you will be able to think for yourself.

Try not to expand your mind too quickly or you'll end up with a super brain like my good buddy Alan F. He has to take stupid pills just to try and stay somewhat normal. He is leaving his brain to me in his will. I am going to have it bronzed and place it on the mantel next to my bowling trophies and my statuette of two naked people kissing.

Robert (You Know) and Fred Hall are also willing me their brains when they die. I'm going to glue them together, have them bronzed, and make a nice key chain ornament out of it.

Satan is not allowed on this board. Neither is Zeus, Hercules, Pandora, Apollo, Aphrodite, Hades, Hermes, Ra, Ammon, Hetepet, Isis, Oden, The Easter Bunny, Santa Clause, Superman, Mighty Mouse, Ren and Stimpy, Bart Simpson (especially Bart Simpson) or any of the people from South Park with a particular ban, including a restraining order on Eric Cartman.

In short, no mythical creatures of the North that are not willing to play nice and deal with reality.

Although, topics that include, talking snakes, the condemnation of all humankind by making improper fruit choices, cramming a million animals on a big boat, people walking on water with out a life vest, turning water into a nice cabernet d'Anjou (or Jack Daniel's), destroying defenseless babies with fire and sulfur bombs, knocking down eighty ton rock walls with a trombone, virgin births (my sister had one of those), The entire destruction of all mankind that does not buy into JW doctrine, demons, gods, and the bogeyman that lives under all our beds are absolutely accepted topics on this board.

Please feel free to browse and don't forget to stop off at the gift shop on your way out.
