  Our last meeting (which I wasn't there , had 15 people ). Ten years ago we had 160 publishers.

  Mind you it was right after an assembly, people can only take so much.

  Pretty soon there will not be enough money to even pay the power bill.

  Real reasons behind this change?

  just a good conversation at home about the hour report change.. we think the change was not impmemented because the gb are such a lovely bunch of old grandpa's having the best in mind for us individuals.. there will be only, and we say only, an organizational reason for it.

  a legal reason, to protect jw.org and it's officials and wealth.. next step?

  maybe selling more kh and when jw hollywood studio's in rampoo are ready a change to tv subscription.. what do you think?

  The average age of the body of elders in our hall is well over 70 and they are just getting old to hound everyone. Plus, I think the younger ones realize it is kind of a dick move always being in everyone's business.

  Plus there are people who just never go out and it is getting harder and harder to just ignore the fact some people are just treating it as " Church " now.

  I am sure most halls are in the same situation.

  I remember my wife actually being in labour and receiving a phone call asking how many hours she did that month. I found it quite inappropriate to ask a women nine months pregnant that question. Like use some fucking common sense.

  I remember about 10 years ago, we were having a really miserable January. It was literally -40 the entire month. There was a little break in the weather near the end of month, maybe it was only -30 and still icy as hell. The CO was coming for a visit and everyone was in a mad panic to get here hours in.

  Two sisters got killed on an Icy highway, after getting hit by a semi. There was no sane reason that anyone should be out there. No leadership in the corg. No said " don't get yourself killed out there, your life is worth more than a time card. "

  Funerals were a sales pitch for the borg. The two brother were remained within the year. What a joke.

  The transgender thing is weird but I don't think they exist any real numbers that this is a real problem. Plus I think half of them are just trolls who love the attention and getting right wing loons all upset. I don't know. There has to be something to it . Why would you want to walk around with a target on your back with people calling you a queer, faggot, pedo, weirdo etc. Outside of sports and women's change rooms, you can just do you. None of my business. For the people taking about the innocence of the children, shit that is funny. Every kid is walking around with the worlds largest smut store on there telephone. Some of these sites are getting nearly 3 billion hits a month. I am sure they have already seen it all. Long gone are days of the Sears Catalogue and a vivid imagination.

  To have people protesting at my sons K-8 school without a single trans or gay kid, no drag queen hour or whatever is absolute bullshit. The whole thing is like the black parent who had there kid join some inner city gang at 17 and go to jail and turn around and blame society. Only if a democrat was in office, this wouldn't have happened. Either do your job as a parent or accept what your kid is but don't blame the schools. Just fuck off.
  

  In my neck of the world we currently have 300 or so kids in hospital with an Ecoli outbreak with some 20 in ICU care. The gutting of the health authorities by right wing is much or a threat to the safety of children.

  I was raised as a JW, walked out after my teens. I got involved with an evangelical church in my 30s. I still enjoyed the bible and trying to be a good person. I also did keep a health dose of skepticism in me. I thought I was damaged because I was raised in a cult and I could never fully accept anything.

  Then covid hit and I really had the whole thing backwards in my mind. I soon realized the same people who were telling a 14 year old girl 6 weeks pregnant that she was a murder for having an abortion were the same people who didn't give two shits if they flooded the hospitals and if you just happened to miss your cancer biopsy because of it, that is on you. Then everyone become an infectious disease expert or a climate change expert or an expert on the situation in Ukraine, electric car turn people gay.

  I have an 8 year old son who has had the police called twice to his school. Once when a guy walked on to the playground with a candy wanting to talk to the children about the dangers of vaccines and once when two ladies walked on to the playground telling the kids the teachers were dangerous and woke.

  I am so sick of this shit.

  I have no problem with the death of religion. Let it die.

  Your so called talking points are nothing but opinion while I am just pointing out the fact the according to all All Cause Mortality in every age group over the last three years , the unvaxxed have died at disproportionately higher rates than the vaxxed.

  It is just true in the very young it is almost statistically insignificant and the gap between the two groups have narrowed from 14 to 1 to about 1.8 to 1 but at no time have the vaxxed died at a higher rate than the unvaxxed.

  I am sure you will use some country like Israel where everyone is vaxxed to prove a point but that is what I love about US data. You have enough unvaxxed people to really see how effective the vaccines were.

  It is strange how everyone is demanding apologies when every health authority in the world is reporting when adjusted per 100,000 that the unvaxxed always died at greater rates than the vaxxed.
  

  The great part about the United States is only like 66% of the adult population got vaxxed so we have this great body of data of how well the vaccines worked.
