  I always get a kick out of the massive theological holes in the memorial talks. Every talk requires this very particular interruption of the book of Revelation while they try and talk around the fact they basically worship eight men in Brooklyn New York.

  Once you realize the book of Revelation is most likely a giant FU by first century Jews to the Roman Empire and only made it in the canonization of the bible for trinity references and has been basically considered nothing but horseshit up till about 75 years ago, it all seems rather silly.

  There is a youtuber named "whistlindiesel" with 9.3 million followers who is a former JW. He does some pretty crazy shit. Check him out.

  He actually does some videos of talking about being disfellowed. Pretty sad stuff.

  new german chancellor merz has won the election.

  trump congratulated his victory but the response was not what trump expected.

  merz condemned america, saying that america seemed to be aligning with russia.. he also expressed doubts about nato’s future.. he is now advocating that germany must gain independence from usa.

  All Trumps peace plan is going to do is have every nation that borders Russia seeking nuclear weapons. Baltic states, Georgia, Central Asian former Soviet republics, even Poland.

  Do JWs see the org falling apart?

  i have been away from the jw cult for many years.

  i don't have any family i talk to that are in it.

  so i don't know if the jws as a whole are seeing the cult fall apart or if they or the majority of them are head in the sand la la la the end is neigh.

  I didn't think the religion would make it past Generation X ( my generation ) , then the pandemic and social media happened and you realize reality is now subjective as long as it makes you feel special. My hall ( which I don't attend ) has 5 times more people over 65 than under 20, so that is a good sign, but there will always be lonely people.

  where did this phrase 'in the truth' come from?.

  is it from the time they were promoting 'the truth shall make you free' book back in 1943?

  I seem to find social media flooded with anti-VAX and conspiracy theorist who called themselves the truth. They’re always posting these incredibly vague memes with references to mistrust, and the such. It doesn’t seem to have any real specific grievance, or scientific measurable that they take exception too.

  I often wonder if it’s my JW upbringing that makes me dislike this stuff and I find myself rather surprised and disappointed that more people don’t feel like me.

  I am not an accountant, but I find it pretty hard to believe that a country that has an annual federal budget of $7 trillion suddenly has no idea where 4.6 trillion of it went. It seems to me that it may have been lent out and it’s more accounted for in the backend..

  A whole bunch more detail would be nice to know here. Did this happen over a single year or a decade or 30 years?

  trump said in another speech, had the citizens never voted democrat, and rinos were more concern about the citizens than lining their own pockets, the government would of had enough money to buy every citizen a home, car, full paid college education, and all social security recipients would be receiving 100k a year.

  the trillions of dollars that were stolen by democrats and rinos and given to other countries for transgender surgeries, wars in other countries, and other worthless stuff throughout the years, could have been invested in so many avenues, and american citizens would be the richest people in the entire world and the most innovative.

  don’t ever vote democrat again.

  Maybe you should try and balance a multi trillion deficit first before trying to re-create the Soviet Union.

  Nothing is exported because the US dollar is too strong, nothing is imported because of import taxes.

  Fun Fact

  Robert Kennedy Jr doesn't believe in Germ Theory. The idea that diseases comes individual virus and bacteria. Louis pasteur and whole foundation of infectious disease, he believes it is all a lie.
  

  His appointment to his position is a sick joke to anyone who can pass high school level biology or chemistry but hey that is just me. It would be funny if it wasn't actually so scary.
