I think the Watchtower is just turning into " Church ". People might attend every second week, might just not bother with the mid week meeting. No field service but will attend every social function.
I am sure if that is better of worse.

The whole ceremony is basically glorifying these 8 men. Just a friendly reminder , Jesus died for them and them alone but the good news is if you join the right club and work really really hard , Jehovah might not hit you with a flaming piece of rock at the big A. I knew a guy who was a study about two years ago and was cornered by two elders. He was told he would have to lose the beard in order to. “ spiritually progress”. He eventually just stopped attending.
What a joke this religion has become. I knew the beard thing really isn’t that big a deal but it shows how ridiculously petty and pointless the legalisms are.

Where is Tony?

a few months later it was revealed that the watchtower bought him a house in lumberton, north carolina.. however, and correct me if i am wrong, since leaving the gb nobody has reported seeing tony attending jw meetings or participating in field service.
in fact nobody has reported seeing him anywhere, not even at a local liquor store.

Maybe the drop in Vaccine mandates has something to do with the 95% drop in covid hospitalizations, ICU admissions and deaths since 2021. Three years of repeated inflections/vaccinations that lead some to something called heard immunity.

Is Jesus God?

The Old Testament is littered with the phrase “the word of the lord appeared “ and the lord said. It is not entirely clear who or what is happening. This figure seems to be recognized as god yet separate from god.
The entire book of John is dedicated to this idea. In the beginning was the word, no one has seen giod, only the son.
Jehovah witness theology on the subject never really bothered me ( god created an angel who created the world and everything then gives it back to god. ) What bugs me is they no concept of how the New Testament is referring to the Old Testament and nothing is really clear outside of Jesus being the visible manifestation of god in the Old Testament.
It is not invented by false religion . It is just in the bible. It is completely understandable who Jesus is god in the flesh.
