Simon, You have once again allowed yourself to be sucked in by Frenchy. I knew without scrolling down the list that Simon had already
stepped in it. To Angharad: Q. Why did god create man? A. Because a vibrator can't mow the lawn.

i listen to clannad, enya, loreena mckennitt, natalie mcmaster, and capercaillie.. i have also discovered 'celtic rock' when i went to the scottish festival in pleasanton ca last year.
seven nations was playing modern rock music with fiddles and bagpipes.
My dear Steel Magnolia, a.k.a. waiting,
Seven's not as cultural
as you think she is.
Hmmm. Here are a few quotes for you from a movie about my favorite hell's belles-Steel Magnolias Truvy:Time marches on and sooner or later you realize it is marchin' across your face. * Ouiser:I'm not crazy, I've just been in a very bad mood for the last 40 years! * Clairee: The only thing that separates us from the animals is our ability to accessorize.*Clairee:If you don't have anything nice to say about anybody, come sit by meand Shelby:I'd rather have thirty minutes of wonderful than a lifetime of nothing special.

What a pity Gore couldn't carry his home state. I voted for Bush, but wanted McCain and Liz Dole or Carmel and Waiting. All we heard was don't vote for Bush-the stupid rich guy, who's academic transcripts revealed had far better grades than Al ever did(have this bookmarked somewhere). I always found it interesting that the liberal media chose to ignore Gore's wealth and his 84% pro-life voting record during his tenure in the house('77-'84). Gore's father, former senator
Al Sr., was once director of Occidental Petroleum and close associate of Armand Hammer. Al Jr. has considerable stock in the company-guess this doesn't qualify one as a rich guy. This president should go 4
and out then we can go through this all over again.
One of my favorite Al quotes was from an event in Denver on 9/18/00, when he declared potential breast cancer victims faced a "...long waiting line before they could get a biopsy, or uh, another kind of, what am I looking for, a sonargram or..."The people in the crowd shouted in unison,"mammogram!"

Zazu, Thank you for the quote and the New Year's wish as well. Goethe was a fascinating man. I recall as a young man he wrote love songs for a married woman far older than himself-didn't care what the consequences were. He ended up marrying a girl half his age. One of my favorite quotes of his-We do not have to visit a madhouse to find disordered minds; our planet is the mental institution of the universe. Someone once wrote that in my yearbook.
Peace to you, and I'm glad you found the links useful.

this policy is unethical and immoral in my opinion.
however, i can no longer continue to serve the members of my church as i do not agree with a church policy that as a church elder i am required to enforce.
Mommy, Just let it all out. That's what a discussion forum is for. Entire volumes can be written about the JW Mom.
