  HORRORS! Ottawa Senators fans irate as cable repairs are underway

  rogers cable in ottawa is down due to a main line being severed.

  the hockey game between ottawa and philadelphia is scheduled to start at 7pm, and rogers is not going to be able to restore service until approximately 9pm tonight.

  people are being given instructions on how to hook up a piece of speaker wire in order to view the game the "old fashioned way"......

  we have all heard the cliche' "what goes around comes around" but do you really believe it?.

  i know this person that for many years has been unkind, devious and vengeful and then over more recent years has had bad luck everywhere they turned around.

  i mean one thing after another.

  Yes, I'm a firm believer in what goes around comes around and you reap what you so. There are times when people who willfully harm others or cause them pain don't have to answer for their actions in the now.. They eventually get reaped. They get what they deserve.

  the whole discussion on "america" made me wonder the above.. by the way the war of 1812 wasn't against canadians but against the brits and won by americans after the battle of new orleans--which inspired one of the funniest lines in folk music, penned by jimmy driftwood and sung by the great johnny horton:.

  ..."we fired our cannon 'til the barrel melted down.. so we grabbed an alligator and we fought another round.. we filled his head with cannon balls, and powdered his behind.

  I don't see it so much as jealousy as much as it is just general angst against anything or anyone that considers themselves better than others.

  it seems to me that this board's force comes mainly from our english and aussie friends.

  i've read comments that some have gotten annoyed that the society and gb seem to only stress the "american" english in their style of writing.

  i'm just curious as to what you think of your american brethren.

  Your site is very well done and reflected where you were at the time. Maybe rather than delete the born again stuff you may want to include additional essays concerning your present thoughts re: God and Jesus. It would be interesting to allow others to see the contrast.

  We can all learn from each other and I learned something from you today. I once believed like you did. Please be careful and do not delete too much of escapethewatchtower. We've all gone through so many phases in our journey. Your site reflects yours. I hope you allow your readers to see how far you've come.
