Frenchy, First of all as a single, good JW girl the only experiences I have to draw upon are ones
with single, good JW boys. Okay, and a few worldly ones on the side. This hardly qualifies me to make the statement that I did and maybe I should have just kept my mouth shut. The manner in which we are taught to stiffle our desires and
to limit physical contact to what you feel comfortable displaying in front of a chaperone is
just not normal. Maybe I was too harsh in my judgement of all men. Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaa :) -

Frenchy, You didn't miss the point. As long as it's good for them they could care less about the closeness and intimacy part of it. IMO.

About posting your picture be careful!
by spectromize insimon i'm sorry i don't mean to rain on your parade but you have to remember the society and your local elders watch for stuff like that.
this is a very liberal board as far as discussions go and forever thankful for that, but you have to be careful because you could face a jd meeting.
i'm sure everyone is well aware that some posts on this board just wouldn't go over to well with the society.

waiting, I will accept your advice and attempt to keep the lines of communication open with my family. I love them all dearly. Maybe someday soon
we can agree to disagree.I can appreciate your comments about southern women. I wish to add that southerners are some of the most charming, hospitable, down to earth, family-oriented, and soulful people I have ever met. I have one Aunt who was born and raised in the south and often traveled with her to visit her
kin. I was grateful for this experience. I just love you "Steel Magnolias." I forgot to include witty in the above butt kissing sentence. Here is a list of my obvious flaws in case you still need something to feel smug about:

What women don't like and what men don't like!
by spectromize inwomen don't like,.
#1 unclipped hair protuding out of your nose and ears.. #2 showing up at the restaurant without reservations.. #3 using her money to buy a gift.. #4 asking her daughter out if it doesn't work out.. #5 watching the football game while she says:"we have to talk!".
#6 being a couch potato on your days off.. #7 never, never say she's fat even if she is.

spec., I just couldn't let this one slide by.
Women don't like:1. Butt crack. Pull those pants up!
2. The continuous fondling of the remote control.
3. Expecting me to cook when I want to watch football.
4. When he gets upset when I call him by another man's name.
5. Drinking out of the milk carton.
6. When his after shave smells like an air-wick room deodorizer.
7. When he scratches himself in public.

Endless Night
by Frenchy inwhen i'm in a melancholy mood i almost always think of an old shanty (perhaps because i grew up in one) nestled on the side of a mountain (perhaps because i love the mountains so) with tall green pines jutting straight up to the sky.
i think of slow, drizzling rain tapping out a melody on a tin roof while a cold wind sways the green pines.
i was in one of those moods when i wrote 'endless night'.

Frenchy, There is one thing that I would find challenging. I would like to sail from North America to Australia. Quit my job, gather up some Jimmy Buffett CD's and sail off into the sunset.
I can appreciate your dream of buying a Harley. I own an 11yr old Kaw. Voyager 1200 that is a piece of junk. I couldn't give it away if I tried. LOL -

Frenchy, I'm no stranger to life's negative experiences but so are many others. I don't dwell on them or spend my days wallowing in self pity. That's not how I am. It's difficult for others to comprehend but there's nothing left for me to do in life. Nothing. Nothing left to accomplish in my career except to own the corporation. I have every material thing I'd ever want or need and more money than I'll ever spend. So tell me what else is there? On the spiritual side what is there
for a sister to do in Jehovah's organization besides being some egotistical brother's punching
bag? I have many hobbies I enjoy to the fullest but somehow I'm just weary of it all.
