  the brochure "the new millenium- what does the future hold for you?

  " was just deliverd to my house this morning.

  my wife answered the door and took it from an elder jw that i saw walking away as my wife shut the door.

  If we can't be told apart from those who are not servants of Jehovah by something as simple as our dress, how does that reflect on the kingdom?

  Excellent question. I've often asked myself that very thing. It only led to more questions. How do the movies we attend, the pubs we drink in, the concerts we see, the clubs we dance at, the music CD's we listen to, the magazines and books we purchase and read, the liquor stores we buy from, and the videos we rent reflect on the Kingdom? This is all done in plain view of the world. If we want to remain different, then what's up with all of the above?? I see no difference between us and the world there. Do you?

  waiting, Hannibal the cannibal-good gloomy day reading. I found the book disturbing, but couldn't put it down. There's an interesting chapter about Dr. Lector's memory palace and overcoming your surroundings. Read the author's Red Dragon if you ever get a chance.

  Frenchy, Red, TR, Seriously this could be quite fun. I currently participate in several role playing adventures loosely based on the books of JRR Tolkien's Middle-earth-one online, and the other play-by-mail. The current email game includes a fantasy religion. We could
  use the Literature and Reading forum. We may even be able to convince Pathto join in. He enjoys listening to my Trek adventures. He likes it when I say things like: I discovered that a chain reaction in the planet's polaric ion power generators obliterated all organic life on the planet. I became caught in a temporal flux caused by residual subspace fractures, and reappered in the same place one day earlier...LOL
