  the restraining order was denied.

  Once you've proved the truth to yourself you don't need to keep trying to disprove it...

  i was told this during my judicial committee (some five years ago) when i brought up concerns i had with the "truth.

  " in addition one of the elders (who was an engineer) said once you've accepted a proof of pythagorus' theorem you don't later start doubting that theorem.

  i thought that argument was a weak analogy then.

  "Would have been worth mentioning that in this case, if the Watchtower convinces itself that something is truth, then there should be no need to change it. Yet, this is not what we see because the Watchtower has constantly found errors in things that it thought were absolute truth."

  They are NOT errors, they are NEW LIGHT! They don't make mistakes, it is either our understanding of what they said that is incorrect, or they didn't have all the facts so the truth must be overlapping.

  she said she had something interesting to tell me.... way back in 2002, i was moving out from my stupid roommate who was playing dumb jokes on me.

  You my friend are guilt free. Let it go. That same person could be buying a coffee beside a cart and see a magazine. I highly doubt that him just seeing her with the WT made him pursue a mind control cult.

  i was chatting with my very jw pioneer mother (aged 65) and out of the blue she tells me she is sore from a particular pose she did in yoga class.

  this from the australian broadcasting commission (abc).. the aftershocks of the arc continue.. "thanks for your email, and for sharing some of your personal story.we are absolutely aware that violence exists in jehovah's witnesses families.

  i went into my mother's office to leave her a small note to say that we love and miss her and would love to get together.

  "The kids have not seen or spoken to my mother or sisters......"

  It is possible that by the time she becomes sick or dying the grandchildren wont want to see her even as she requests or 'allows' them to.

  So sad - hugs to you. Nothing hurts us like family.

  as we have seen, the society has so smoothly rolled out the rebranding of the organization in just a few short years!.

  (in fact, i remember a thread post here a few years back, where it was mentioned that all halls are going to get the jw.org signs on them.

  I am twice over 25 and haven't a clue what KFC stands for. As for the Halls in Edmonton Canada, they are sporting both the Kingdom Hall sign and the JW.org sign
