  What was the retirement plans you heard brothers talk about if any

  i know some would not think about retirement.

  i had one brother who would pioneer as he could afford and when he paid off his home he was about to collect social security.

  he made enough that his plan was to work two to three days a week and pioneer the rest of the week.

  i was ministered to by several different people at a jw funeral i attended today.

  one older lady said to me, "you know the end is right around the corner, just look at the state of the world today".

  i said, "well yes but that has been the mantra for decades, remember 'stay alive till '75'".

  I was ministered to by several different people at a JW funeral I attended today. One older lady said to me, "you know the end is right around the corner, just look at the state of the world today". I said, "well yes but that has been the mantra for decades, remember 'Stay Alive till '75'". She then says, "well that never came from the governing body, that was local ones saying that". My response was "I distinctly remember hearing it at the summer assembly, so it wasn't just murmurs or local ones". She quickly changed the subject LOL.

  just heard from a friend who keeps in touch with the jw's.

  a person who has been studying found out some things on line about the witnesses and decided to not get baptized and stopped attending the meetings.

  she lives with a witness.

  here is a stewart in the stew, that mis - manages, perhaps defrauds his master, and knows he is going to be fired for that.

  a letter obtained by inq has shed light on the secretive methods the jehovah's witnesses are undertaking to erase the impact of child sexual abuse within the sect.. by georgia wilkins sept 10, 2019. a body representing the jehovah’s witnesses in australia has written to all elders of the group ordering them to destroy confidential records, including notes taken by elders investigating child sexual abuse, in an instruction that has enraged survivors of abuse inside the secretive christian sect.. in a letter obtained by inq, dated august 28, a body called the christian congregation of jehovah’s witnesses (australasia) instructs elders to destroy so-called judicial hearing records and certain congregation notes.. “we ask that each elder check his personal computer, or hard copy files, and even his meeting bag, to ensure that no confidential correspondence is retained outside the congregation’s confidential file,” the letter states.

  it also directs elders to destroy information aired against so-called “wrongdoers”: “if this ‘wild talk’ is recorded in detail, it may not be accurately assessed when reviewed out of context,” it says.

  What is stored in the "congregation’s confidential file,” ? What would the elders files have that the main file doesn't? Other than notes of the investigation - oh and of course references to the 'wild talk'.

  If you saw a governing body member being pummeled would you help them?

  think about how they could care less how many families are broken up just to retain their power.

  how they could care less if members are driven to suicide because of the deep programming and severe depression or strained family situations.. how they would rather let members die in order to retain their power and refuse to acknowledge their faulty bible reasoning regarding blood.. i could go on and on and on.
