  If you saw a governing body member being pummeled would you help them?

  think about how they could care less how many families are broken up just to retain their power.

  how they could care less if members are driven to suicide because of the deep programming and severe depression or strained family situations.. how they would rather let members die in order to retain their power and refuse to acknowledge their faulty bible reasoning regarding blood.. i could go on and on and on.

  i know people are concerned about adding positively to jw stats on the site that shall not be named, but i don't think the argument is a valid one, because they are going to see cause to brag on themselves whether the stats rise, stagnate, or fall.

  it's built into their self-conceits.

  Mandatory Vaccinations...are you for or against ??

  there’s now a measles outbreak.

  there is a jewish sect in new york that refuses vaccines.

  some parents do not want their children vaccinated..

  Not for nothing but I had the German measles and the red measles; chicken pox and mumps. There were no vaccines for those diseases then. There was a shot for Polio, but I was home sick that day and never did get it.

  Why do some JWs love seeing others get disfellowshipped?

  i'm not sure how many in the organization is like this, but there some jws who love seeing others get disfellowshipped, and my father-in-law is one of those.

  he became a jw because he loved the idea of being the head of the household, and lording it over his family.

  as a jw he is very hypocritical, my husband would tell stories of how they would celebrate christmas until his mother-in-law called him on it.

  Not supporting the JW's in anyway, but for the first time it sounds like they did the right thing - private reproof and told the rest of them to STFU.

  As for your FIL - he is just an asshole, regardless of his faith.

  i'm just so sad and i'm so angry at myself for believing and living a lie.

  i hurt so many people in my family by becoming a jw....why didn't i listen to my sweet grandfather when he cried and begged me not to become a jw...i truly thought it was the truth...my grandfather cried...he was so hurt....my bible study teacher told me that satan would test me and my grandfather's pleas were my first test...he's gone now...years before i left the religion....i so wish that i could tell him that i am sorry and how very much i loved him...

  Cracking down on neutrality rules

  maybe i’m wrong, but when i was younger, when it came to the flag salute and the national anthem, we were allowed to stand with everyone else, as long as we didn’t put our hand on our heart and sing or speak along.

  now in the march broadcast apparently witnesses are supposed to make an even bigger show of themselves by staying seated?

  aren’t we supposed to be discreet?

  In the 60s and 70s we were instructed to remain seated during the national anthem, raising of the flag, the Lords prayer and the singing of God save the Queen.

  Not sure about you folks, but when I have a 'party' we buy more than 1 kind of booze (vodka, gin, beer etc) - buying only 1 kind of booze does indeed signal personal use here folks.
