  You shared this story with us. Now you’re upset that we are not patting you on the back. You absolutely have the right to “do it your way”. I don’t think your way is effective. But please, by all means yell at old ladies in the street.

  I’m sure this felt satisfying. I personally don’t think that yelling, cart crashing, Kingdom Hall crashing etc is an effective way of communicating with them. It validates their persecution complex, and that we are mentally diseased.

  but simply i would like to see just news and insights from the local congregation to the top organization level of: downsizing, closings, c.s.a.

  personal experiences,unscriptural doctrines of the org.and direct commentary of the above.

  "The Branch did not approve of us to get a video security system"

  this was the reply i was given by our coordinator at our recent kingdom hall security meeting.. he explained that they aren't allowed to buy any appliances or do any changes to the kingdom hall without branch approval.

  "we put in our letter that a video security system could be purchased for around $600 locally and an app could be downloaded for the attendants to monitor the cameras what's going onoutside.

  " they said;" such a system would not be needed in our area of the country, if standard protocols of security are followed as outline by the branch.

  Maybe a kh crash should be planned for that hall. Reason that it could have been prevented had their been better security.

  lately i been sifting though my many emotions after being here on this site.

  i feel ive been all over the map just trying to come to grips with the information.

  but through all this i feel i'm shunned here as of late due to my (all over the place =-ness).

  i was a 3rd generation jw on my mom’s side and both of my parents were jws when i was born.

  me and my 3 siblings were raised a bit on the strict side.

  no sports, outside association, college, mandatory meeting attendance & service routine, etc.

  I find it interesting that once you were alone, or only with your children, your true thoughts come into focus. It’s difficult to even hear what you’re thinking with so much being pushed into your brain without even knowing it. Follow your instincts mama and your babies will be safe. I’m proud to have read this story. Always trust your primal instincts.

  The Hypocrisy Of Jehovah’s Witnesses

  celebrating holidays is wrong if you are a witness.

  but almost every jw that i know of has turkey on thanksgiving day.

  they say , every day is a day of thanksgiving.

  My mother made turkey on the Friday after thanksgiving every year.. because it was “on sale” and my father got pissed and carved it every time..
