  Did you ever find any of Jehovahs pronouncements 'thrilling'?

  I remember the anticipation leading up to a special talk or special assembly and it'd always be a letdown. "resolve to go out in service more" or some nonsense.

  a german systems analyst who asserts that the 'dark ages' did not exist.

  the 300 years between 614 and 911 are an invention.we would then actually be living in the 18th century not the 21st.

  prabably not true, but fun to think about and speculate on why the powers that be (catholic church) would insert 3 nonexistant centuries.

  Due to this post i think i'll quit smoking. Now if I can just avoid Stroke, Heart Attack, Pancreatic Colon Liver Lymph Prostate Stomach Brain Mouth Skin Cancer, Alzheimers, Broken Hip,Diabetes, Auto Accident,Violence etc, i'll have it made.

  Are you serious? Millions of people die every day. Do you cry for every random celebrities misfortune?

  If this were true, Hasting would have taken place in 766. The new World discovered in 1192 or thereabouts.   It's time to say goodbye for awhile

  i am turning the page on my former life.

  there are new hopes and dreams out there for me, and i no longer want to have the jw feelings holding me back.

  as helpful as it was to talk about and sort out my feelings i just don't feel i have any more to say.. for all of those who helped me sort out my feelings, i will always be grateful.
