If the local officials were smart they would direct traffic so that people could use both the north and south bound lanes to go north.
Genius. Why are these career morons in charge of city planning and evacuation? You should be in charge. Also the cranky neighbor down the street who seems to know the best way for the power and phone company to restore service after a storm should be in charge of those utilities.

On a macro level, the Witnesses are pretty harmless
by logansrun inwarning: this post may be damaging to your biases.. it seems to me that the "danger" the witnesses pose to larger society is, well, pretty damn small.
just think about it: the witnesses are almost not involved in politics at all, except the occassional "freedom of religion and speech" issues they take to various courts, issues i am happy to support the witnesses in, even if i strongly disagree with their beliefs.
you will not see jws supporting banning abortions or gay marriages or a whole host of other civil liberties and freedoms that evangelicals rally around like the village people searching for frankenstein's monster.

Logan, on a 'Macro' level none of our endeavors ultimately matter. You cant live life thinking that way. The WT had a bad effect on the people here so it matters in their 'micro' lives. To be honest, I dont really care about terrorism that you listed in the sense that it is extemely unlikely to touch me personally.
