  Funny story about VeniceIT

  by popular demand, i am yielding to pressure, to tell a story about our very own veniceit.. in march, venice and her parents were visiting us here in washington state, and we all had dinner at our daughter's home one evening.

  (my daughter posts here as princess) princess's son, 4 years old, was quite taken with venice and was showing her around the house.

  he was going up the stairs ahead of her, and turned around, face first at her rather, ummm, er, ample?

  i turned to this website looking for encouragement.. i thought it was a genuine jw chat site.. what do i find?.

  most who write here, don't belive in the jw teachings.. most are complainers and apostate.. does any one know were i can find a genuine jw site?

  And also, you will find quite a few jw chatrooms just by doing a simple search. About.com has a pretty good room, under "religions". MSN has three, I think. Then of course, there is yahoo messenger rooms; but I get the feeling that is where you saw the URL for this forum. I could be wrong. It HAS happened before. hahahaha Happy trails to you!!

  Yes, I have now read your reply Mr. King and I thank you for it.

  The reason I said what I did is because it APPEARED (yes, i'm aware they CAN be deceiving) you were avoiding the thread. That was because I saw that you were texting with others yet you were not addressing my quest(ion) posed to you for a few days. I do beg your pardon there.

  So, you HAVE been researchin this topic or at least are somewhat interested in it on a certain level. What do you say of the RUSSEL family "bloodline" that you read in the page? And are you a baptized Jehovah's Witness Mr. King? I never have been entirely clear on that. If so, what position do you hold in your congregation, if I may ask?

  I sincerely appreciate your response sir. Thank you and I look forward to your reply to my other quest(ions).

  Hi Jan and/or Kent,

  Do copyright laws apply to pasting text from other sites/ pages on the net? How exactly, does that effect how I operate with cutting and pasting ACTUAL text from other sites/ pages? Example: I cut actual text out of many pages everyday and paste them directly to yahoo chatrooms along with the owner/writer of page/site. Tally's pages (among others) have been read literally by hundreds of people now, that would have never clicked on theURL (fear keeps their clicker still); it is then SEEN by the eye as it hits the screen and they can't use the excuse "we cant view apostate sites" because the text is staring at them. Am I doing ANYTHING illegal here? (be quite venice! )

  as i sit in front of my computer in a drunken stupor wondering what might have been, i felt i had to post my story to those who might truly understand what i am going through.. i am a newbie here, but have been lurking around for the last few weeks.

  i am 25 years old, from ontario, and totally heartbroken.. to give you some background, back in 1998, i studied with the witnesses because some friends of mine, whom i believe to be honest and sincere people, gave me (i thought at the time) some good advice to start a book study.

  i did, and i really enjoyed it because i felt they presented everything factually and had a strong interpretation of the scriptures (i'm a facts man, you see).

  Hi Jeremy,

  Building a support system with others who know EXACTLY what your pain FEELS like is also a good way to take your mind off the pain a bit, at lest for a while. You'll hear others, as you've heard here, that are going thru or will go thru or have gone thru this exact pain. I'm so glad you found Simon's forum here. The dynamics of the members here is never dull and I've developed quite a support system myself with many people here. I wish the same for you too.

  The main reason for my reply is to invite you to voice chat over on Yahoo messenger. (speakers and a mic are needed, however, you can text while listening on your speakers; and also open multiple windows and be in other rooms also; venice and i often voice on yahoo, yet text in simons) If you have not yet downloaded it, it is an easy and fast one. Once you get hooked up, click on the "chat" feature. Look for "religions and beliefs", then click on the "user rooms" and scan the list for an EX jw room or jw room. They self delete if no one stays in the room for long. That's okay, just "create room" and others will start coming in. You'll find that many ex jws go into the jw room and vise versa. I mainly am in those rooms to paste relative material re: the WTBTS and it's korruption.

  Again, it's wonderful that you "fell" into here. You'll never have to be alone in your thoughts and feelings again. Relief is only a click away.

  the great depression had more to do with shaping the character and defining the last century than any other event, except the great wars that caused and followed the depression.

  the structure of the financial system though has radically changed since that time, in that it is many times larger, global in fact, and it is much more fragile and complex, in that it reacts nearly instantaneously to various factors.

  the average person is now much more dependent upon and indebted to the system as well.

  Where Do I Stand?

  i officially quit all spiritual functions with the jw's almost 5 years ago,at the time i was a ms, my wife and kids are still very active however i have never been announced as deleted are anything.

  dosen't there have to be an accounting of my inactivity?.

  any thoughts!
